PREFACE
The desire for this term paper work has originally come from
my long-time appetite for writing something on our Testing,
Measurement and Evaluation in Education. It’s never too
late to know the educational process we all are a part of.
The intriguing aspects of teaching profession made me to
complete this work . The file work aims to convince readers
to critically understand the concept of teacher education and
acquaint with competencies essential for the teaching
profession..

While I’ve constructively written & covered the


‘Test scores and their transformation :– Z – scores, T-scores,
Stannie Scores and Percentiles’ of
Unit IV of Paper :- Testing, Measurement and
Evaluation in Education.

It enables the reader to develop understanding about meaning


of testing, measurement and evaluation in acquainting with
sense of accountability for the teaching profession and
acquaint with the recent trends in teacher education.

To understand the trends and techniques in teacher


education and develop understanding of general principles
of test constructions and understand the interpretation of
test scores which will be helpful for reform and revamp of
teacher education in India.

Preparing an individual as a Teacher Educator with a


reflective outlook by articulating the emerging challenges is
the core of M.Ed. course : Testing, Measurement and
Evaluation in Education. At the end of this file a student
will be able to : understand
Test scores and their transformation specially Z – scores,
T-scores, Stannie Scores and Percentiles.
