Mixed Berry and Tropical Fruit Salad

A complete fruit salad would include a variety of colorful and nutritious fruits that are both beneficial
for health and environmentally friendly. One recipe that incorporates these elements is a Mixed
Berry and Tropical Fruit Salad.

The ingredients :

-1 cup strawberries, sliced

-1 cup blueberries

-1 cup raspberries

-1 cup chopped pineapple

-1 cup chopped mango

-1 kiwi, peeled and sliced

-1 tablespoon honey

-1 tablespoon lime juice

A fruit salad can be made from a variety of fresh and seasonal fruits, each with its own unique
nutritional profile. For example, citrus fruits are high in vitamin C, which can boost the immune
system and promote healthy skin. Berries are rich in antioxidants and can help reduce inflammation
and the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer.
Tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple are high in vitamin A, which is important for eye health,
and can also help reduce inflammation in the body.

By choosing locally sourced and seasonal fruits, we can reduce the carbon footprint associated with
transportation and storage, and support local farmers and communities. By using reusable containers
instead of disposable plastic, we can further reduce our environmental impact and help protect our
planet.

This fruit salad is high in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. The berries are especially high in vitamin C
and antioxidants, which can boost the immune system and promote healthy skin. The tropical fruits,
such as pineapple and mango, are a good source of vitamin A, which is important for eye health. By
using local and seasonal fruits, this recipe supports sustainable agriculture and reduces the carbon
footprint of the meal. The honey and lime dressing provides a touch of sweetness without added
sugar, making it a healthier option. This fruit salad is a delicious and nutritious way to enjoy a variety
of fruits while supporting both personal health and the environment.
