ACTIVITY DESIGN
Name of the Activity: 38th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF
DIOCESAN YOUTH APOSTOLATE (TADYA @ 38)
Theme: “Mary arose and went with haste” (Luke 1:39)
Date: MARCH 11, 2023 (SATURDAY), 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Proposed Venue: Queen of Apostles College Seminary (QACS) Gymnasium
Participants: PYC plus 10 participants per parish and Former PYCs
Registration Fee: 100.00 each for PYC and 10 participants
50.00 each for former PYCs
Solidarity Share: 1.000.00 (per parish, quasi-parish, chaplaincy)
I- RATIONALE:
“Since the youth constitute a large and dynamic portion of the laity, the youth
ministry should be assured of the fullest attention and highest priority in every
way by all in the Church.” (PCP II, No. 2)
The conduct of Diocesan Youth Apostolate’s 38th Founding Anniversary is a

momentous and significant occasion worth celebrating this year. After almost 2 years
of in-person restrictions due to the wrath brought about by the global pandemic, this
year’s celebration will be a major comeback with a huge number of young people from
various parishes.
This year’s celebration centers on the theme of World Youth Day (WYD) 2023,
“Mary arose and went with haste” from Luke 1:39. This theme fits the anniversary
as communion and consonance as a universal church to the most anticipated
convergence of young Filipino Catholic around the world with the presence of Pope
Francis, the WYD 2023.
In like manner, this celebration responds to what the church continuously

celebrates nowadays, the spirit of Synod of Synodality. The coming and meeting of
young people from different parishes in our diocese promote and herald communion,
participation, and mission.
A series of activities are prepared during the celebration: Plenary Talk, Group
Sharing, creative presentation per vicariate, and Holy Mass.
“Young people aren’t here for the church; they are the church—the most
beautiful and dynamic part of the church.” -Pope Francis
II- ANNIVERSARY OBJECTIVES:
1. To celebrate the gift of youth ministry in the Diocese of Tagum which was
founded 38 years ago;
2. To rediscover that the ‘greatest resource of the Church for evangelization
is the young people of the Philippines’ (PCP II);
3. To journey together as a synodal church.
III- METHODOLOGY:
1. During DYCC Meetings, planning, dissemination of information, and

deliberation are being done;
2. DYCC Council Meeting is set to finalize everything;
3. Education and Formation Ministry shall be the in-charge of formulating the
activity design and other necessary preparation;

4. The Vicariate of Fatima is assigned to help out and assist the EDCOM and
DYCC Council in formulating and executing the necessary preparation for the
anniversary celebration;
5. As agreed during the series of meetings, a presentation shall be performed per
vicariate to showcase the nature and talents of young people;
6. A registration fee of 100.00 will be collected from each participant and a
registration fee of 50.00 will be collected from every former youth coordinator;
7. 1,000.00 will be the solidarity share to be augmented per parish, quasi-parish,
and chaplaincy;

9. Vicariate patron saint must be brought for the Bible Enthronement;
10. Food augmentation per vicariate is assigned to be consumed by the visitors
and guests during the anniversary celebration:
