6. Radiology examinations sometimes require repeat study. If you choose not to have the repeat study or further views

7. The antenatal ultrasound detection rate for Trisomy 21 and other major aneuploidies using nuchal translucency is
75-80%, with a false – positive rate of 5%.

8. In the event of poor ultrasound penetration due to technical reason, a qualification that the study is limited with the

9. The antenatal ultrasound detection rate for all fetal anomalies is 45% (range:15-85%)

10. Radiology Report error rates range from 2 to 30%. All Radiology Reports need to be correlated within the given
clinical context and with other lab parameters.

11. The general ultrasound detection rate for abdominal pathology ranges from 60-76%. Ultrasound is an investigation
with technical limitations and has to be correlated within the given clinical context and with other lab parameters.

12. Not all breast abnormalities are visible on mammography. Mammogram detection rate for cancer ranges from 56-89%
depending on the density of the breast. The management of a palpable lump should be based on clinical grounds.
