    EW20 PROGRAM REPORT

    SK TAMAN SRI PULAI

    1. Name of Program : PROGRAM EW20 (English within 20 minutes)

    2. Date : February – October 2020

    3. Day / Time : Wednesday & Thursday / 12.20pm – 6.20 pm

    4. Venue : All level 1 Classrooms

    5. Objectives :
    1) Encourage interest in reading among pupils.
    2) Increase pupil`s vocabulary / spelling.
    3) Guide pupils in terms of writing and comprehension.

    6. Target : All year 1, year 2 and year 3 pupils

    7. Details of Activities:
    1) Conducted once a week.
    2) The implementation time is during English Pdpc.
    3) All pupils carry out EW20 in their respective classrooms.
    4) Teacher will supervise the pupils as the EW20 runs.
    5) EW20 answers will be reviewed by the teacher.

    8. Program Assessment:
    8.1 Strength of Program :
    a. Overall the program went well.
    b. Most pupils are able to do most of the exercises given.
    c. All pupils are in the classroom during EW20.
    d. Pupils' condition is more controlled during lesson before recess.
    8.2 Weakness of Program:
    a. Many materials are damaged and need to be reprinted
    b. Pupils only copy the exercises given but do not understand
    the meaning of the copied passage.

    8.3 Suggestions/Improvements:
    a. Provide more suitable and sufficient materials for level 1 pupils.
    b. The teacher discusses with the pupils about the copied passage.
