Being sincere means to do

‘Ali ibn al-Husain ibn ‘Ali (rahimahullah), used to
carry a sack filled with bread every night. He
would send them to houses in secret.

None of the people of Madinah knew who

used to give them the food. Until one day, ‘Ali
ibn al-Husain passed away. They no longer
received food like how they used to every
night.

They eventually found out that ‘Ali was the

one who used to give them food when they
saw a black mark on his back, which was
caused by the carrying of heavy load that
was given to the poor people of Madinah
every night.
