 RATIONALE
My name is Kate-Lann Wilson, and for my Music SBA I have decided to analyze these
advertisements because they have a nice rhythm of my liking and some of which I remember and
loved to hear as a child on the television or radio. The company, SM Jaleel Co. Ltd, has
manufactured both Fruta Kool Kidz and Trinidad Juices. They offer a variety of different
flavours to enjoy and boosts your energy and mood. Carib manufactured by Carib Brewery is an
alcoholic beverage loved by many adults in any event as it is known to bring amusement to any
“lime” with family and friends. Catch, produced by Associated Brands Industries Ltd, is a soft
crispy caramel, chocolate bar with a variety of flavours that many people as well as myself loves
to have for a snack. Dairy Dairy is the nation’s finest milk, very nutritious for children. TTMF
offers mortgages to people so that they can acquire homes. This is a way of keeping someone
homeless should they not have the funds in hand to buy a house. Republic Bank provides a
secure place for an individual to store their money as well as offers loans, investments etcetera.
Caribbean Airlines, the state-owned airline of Trinidad and Tobago, offering flights to all around
the Caribbean and some other destinations internationally.

FRUTA KOOL KIDZ – S.M JALEEL & CO. LTD
Fruta Kool Kidz which is in a 200ml Tetra Pak is produced for children. Fruta Kool Kidz brings
about happiness to every lunchtime with 7 different flavours. Teachers and parents have given it
high ratings for juice and vitamin content. Every box has a puzzle of game to motivate kid’s
mind. In 1924 it was established. S.M Jaleel is one of the oldest and largest producers in the
English-speaking Caribbean of non-alcoholic beverages.

CARIB
Carib Brewery was founded in 1947 by Sir Gerald Wright. An individual by the name of Mr.
Walters, sold Trinidad Brewing Company to CDC adding to their already growing portfolio.
They continue to design and evolve their portfolio in every category to make certain consumers
can find a beverage they can claim. They are known for bringing the enjoyment to an island lime.

Republic Bank was initially called Colonial Bank. Founded in 1837 as Trinidad and Tobago’s
first commercial bank. As the years went by, they developed to match the demands of growing
economies and the swift social changes in the markets. In December 2015, a resolution was
made to form Republic Financial Holdings Limited, by a Vesting Order. They have banks all
