    ETP48400 DG Control Guide

    To control DG with ETP48400 below items required.

    1.5mm 2-core cable (Length depends on site)


    220V relay with Base x 02
    Alarm Cable (Length depends on site)

    Hardware Connectivity:

    Power-Up first Relay from Mains Supply and connect its normally Close Point to Rectifier DIN3.
    Power-Up second relay from DG Supply and connect its normally open point to Rectifier DIN4.
    Connect DG Control cable (Dry Contact) to ALM2 Port of Rectifier.

    SMU Configuration:

    Login in SMU02C through WEBUI


    Connect LAN cable in SMU02C FE Port and in laptop.
    Set your laptop IP 192.168.0.11 and Subnet 255.255.255.0

    Open IE and open https://192.168.0.10 to login

    Default User : admin


    PWD : Changeme

    1) Go to Monitoring > UIM > Running Control


    And clear ALM2, DIN3 and DIN4 Association.
    2) Go to Monitoring > Site Unit > Running Parameters > and Set Site ID, DG and Fuel Tank.

    3) After This Setting DG will be show in Monitoring Setting.


    4) Set the DG Capacity.
    5) Verify DG setting
    6) Verify ALM2 Port with meter it will show NO.
    Verify DG Control OK/NOT.
    First Check your DG manually its Start on NO or NC.
    If you’re DG Start on NC and Stop on NO than after above setting your DG will be control from SMU02C.
    If you’re DG Start on NO and Close NC than you need to upload differentiate file as per below Screenshot.

    Once you Upload file SMU will restart and you need to wait 10-15 mints after start of SMU Again
    Now your ALM2 Port will be show NC in normal condition.

    You can get test DG from SMU now.

    Turns OFF Mains Supply.


    Set DG from Auto to Manual.

    Now ON DG from SMU.


    It will start within 2-3 Mints.

    After testing you can also Turn OF DG and check its off control also OK.

    We can control DG by Two Methods.

    1) By DOD Settings.
    Once you will set DG QTY to 1, default DG control setting is DOD Control.
    You can set DOD to start DG.

    2) By Voltage Setting.

    First Enable Voltage control > Set required voltages to control DG.
