Please find below our Proposal & scope of Services for Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPI’s) for your kind perusal.
• Designated Depository Participant:
• Handholding for the FPI application

• Conduct due diligence on the FPI applicant
• Registration and issuance of Certificate to act as FPI, as permitted under the SEBI Regulations
• Custodian:
• Uploading of the necessary documents on the KYC Registration Agency (KRA for the client)
• Opening of the Custody & Depository account with Orbis and opening of the cash accounts with
IndusInd/SBM Bank under the POA
o Cash accounts of the FPI will be opened with IndusInd/SBM by Orbis and will be operated
by Orbis under a POA. These will be non-cheque book accounts.
o Based on the FX done by the FPI, the funds will be credited to FPI Bank account with
IndusInd/SBM.
o Orbis will initiate the transfer using Electronic Banking from the FPI account to Orbis’s
pool Bank account.
o Any outward repatriation request will be submitted by Orbis to IndusInd/SBM.
o A2 form will be submitted by Orbis to IndusInd/SBM.
• Corporate actions tracking and execution for voluntary events under FPI’s instructions
• Data reconciliations (open positions, securities, funds, corporate actions, etc. )
• Exceptions handling with exchanges & brokers
• Tax Consultant
• Working with the Tax consultant for the Income Tax Permanent Account Number
• Based on the authorization of the client, Orbis will be reporting the trade information to the Tax
consultant on trade day
• In case of any repatriation of the funds, Orbis will coordinate with the Tax consultant for the
necessary NOC for submitting the request to Bank.
• Reporting:
• Reporting to FPI Clients / Private Banker / Financial Advisor through multi-dimensional web login
facility
• Local compliance & regulatory reporting including coordinating with AD Bank for withholding tax
computations, deductions, and deposits
• Derivatives Clearing Services: Registered as a Professional Clearing Member with the various exchanges

• Dedicated Team handling - PCM operations to provide the client update on their positions as well

• Collateral Management: Have necessary set-up to accept “Non-Cash Margin” from client for

• State of Art system capable of handling large volumes

One Time Account Set-up Fee
• Individual USD 1200
(Including SEBI registration charges USD 300 for block of
3 years)

Clearing, Settlement & Subscription Charges

• Equity Cash Market 1 bps on transaction value
• Equity & Currency Derivatives
i. Future USD 20 per USD 1 million of daily turnover
ii. Options USD 80 per USD 1 million of daily premium
• Mutual Fund
USD 10 per transaction
• Debt USD 10 per transaction
• Others (IPO, Rights, etc.) USD 10 per transaction
Annual Custody Charges 4 bps per annum

(On average monthly Assets under Custody, payable (Subject to minimum USD 2,400 per annum)
upfront)
SEBI Charges (At actuals) 0.0005% on AUC

Depository Charges USD 1 per ISIN per Debit transaction
Taxes, Regulatory levies As prevalent from time to time
