INTRODUCTION FOR PROPOSAL DEFENSE

EMCEE: Good afternoon to each and every one we are gathered here this
morning/afternoon to present our Research Proposal as partial fulfilment of the requirements
in Inquiries, Investigations and Immersions.

Hence, I am tasked to introduce to you, my co-members. They are

EMCEE: To formally begin this presentation, may we seek first the Lord’s guidance
through a prayer in an Audio-Visual Presentation to be facilitated by yours truely .

EMCEE: Moreover, to give us the overview of our research entitled:

“Effects of Modular Learning to SHS Students Attitude and Motivation for Learning in
Manito National High School ”

May I call Ms. Mish Krisanta Duke Ubay to present the BACKGROUND OF THE
STUDY

Mish: Good Afternoon dear panel of jurors, ….:

Moreover, to present to us the STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM, let me call
in Ms. Melody Arizapa.

Melody: good afternoon to each and every one. Our SOTP has 2 very significant
components: the primary objective and the research questions to be answered
by the study: ….

Furthermore, REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES will be
discussed by Mr. Silvestre Marquez.

Silvestre: good afternoon, everyone. In relation to our study, we are glad to


inform you dear panel members that we have gathered 17 related literature's
and 15 related studies. And from these we are able to prove that…

study)

This time the, THEORETICAL PARADIGM AND CONCEPTUAL PARADIGM
of the study will be discussed by Mr. John Paul Daz.

Daz: Hello everyone. Our study was inspired by 3 theories such as learning theory,
Holmberg theory, and 13.3 theory of distance education in which the
theoretical base is synthesized by the theoretical paradigm graphically
presented here.

Likewise, this theoretical basis inspired the present study as shown by our
Conceptual Paradigm…

Also, the DEFINITION OF TERMS of the study will be presented by Ms. Mish
Krisanta Duke.

Mish: good afternoon everyone. In relation to our study, we have


identified several terms/phrases which were given conceptual and operational
definitions. These are as follows…

Furthermore, the SUMMARY OF THE RESEARCH METHODOLOGY of the
study will be presented by Ms. Melody arizapa, Ms. Recill Gan and Ms. Kyla
Guevarra.

Melody: Our study will make use of QUALITATIVE-QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH method


and survey research design.

(Mention significant details of the Research Design and Respondent of the


Study)

Recill: To gather the necessary data, we will make use of survey questionnaires . In terms of
the respondents, we shall utilize the 12-Block K as the target participants of the study.
