PROFESSIONAL
The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional exam is intended for
individuals who have the knowledge, skills, and experience implementing Salesforce CPQ
and Salesforce Billing solutions. This Accredited Professional credential encompasses the
fundamental knowledge and consulting skills to scope, design, build, and deploy Revenue
Cloud solutions with repeated success for customers.

1. AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional exam is intended for
individuals who have broad knowledge of the Revenue Cloud platform and its capabilities,
Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing capabilities, and can troubleshoot and solve common
implementation challenges. Individuals attempting the Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Consultant Accredited Professional exam should generally have a minimum of 2-3 years of
implementation experience.

The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional can:

● Assess quote to cash business processes and the digital maturity of a client. (i.e.,
assess what is possible vs an aspiration)
● Challenge existing process and solutions while leveraging the Revenue Cloud product
as best practices
● Articulate the trade-offs involved in choosing one technical solution over another
● Align stakeholders on a solution and the business value it generates
● Model Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing solutions with consideration to scale and
performance factors
● Properly characterize use cases that translate the customer’s quote to cash vision
● Understand where the Revenue Cloud areas of risk are with the ability to develop
mitigating actions
● Implement within the boundaries an implementation methodology and product
management regimen
● Understand functional Accounting principles (ie GAAP, Rev Rec, GL)
● Lead Revenue Cloud solution discovery and design sessions
● Formulate solutions within the capabilities of the CPQ & Billing managed package
while understanding when to utilize platform extensibility (ie. WFR, Process
Automation)
● Develop a Revenue Cloud scope of work and project plan
● Implement the Revenue Cloud solution through build, test, deployment and adoption
● Communicate risks appropriately
● Be able to identify when the use of plugg-ins and APIs are needed with the ability to
describe the requirements to a developer
● Understand security models and limitations supporting the Revenue Cloud process

● Understand how to set up document generation, tax and payment integrations in
support of a Salesforce Billing implementation

2. PURPOSE OF THIS EXAM GUIDE


This exam guide is designed to help you evaluate if you are ready to attempt the Salesforce
Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional exam. This guide provides information
about the target audience for the exam, recommended training and documentation, and a
complete list of exam objectives, all with the intent of helping you achieve a passing score.
Salesforce highly recommends a combination of on-the- job experience, course attendance,
and self-study to maximize your chances of passing the exam.

Content: 35 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions

Time allotted to complete the exam: 60 minutes

Passing score: 74%

Registration fee: USD 150 plus applicable taxes as required per local law

Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered in an online proctored environment that can be
accessed through Partner Learning Camp
References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam

As preparation for this exam, Salesforce recommends a combination of hands-on
experience, training courses in Partner Learning Camp, and self-study in the areas listed in
the Exam Outline section of this exam guide.

candidate’s knowledge and skills related to the following objectives. A candidate should have
hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing to demonstrate the

6. EXAM CANDIDATE CODE OF CONDUCT

credentials is up to all of us. As a participant in the Accredited Professional program, you’re
required to accept the terms of the Program Terms for Learning and Credentials.

Participants in the Accredited Professional Program should:

● Use Salesforce-approved study materials available on Partner Learning Camp (PLC) to


prepare for your credential exam, including: exam guides, PLC curriculum and courses.
● Collaborate with other learners in the Partner Community by joining a community
collaboration group and finding a study buddy and/or mentor
● Review and abide by the guidelines for online proctored exams
● Submit a case in Partner Community if you see any activity that undermines credential
security

Participants in the Accredited Professional Program are prohibited from:


● Sharing, using, or requesting credential exam questions and answers
● Offering, receiving, or asking for help during your credential exam
● Engaging in any other behavior that violates the Program Terms for Learning and
Credentials

Consequences for violating the Program Agreement include but are not limited to:
● Suspension from taking any credential exams
● Revocation of credential
● Removal from the Accredited Professional program and the Partner Community
