GitHub Campus Expert Application

This is the first step to becoming a GitHub Campus Expert. We want to learn about you, your community and the impact the program will have in your school.

1. General Information
Email: Expected graduation date:

[email protected] 28/10/2000

In which country is your school located? What degree are you studying?

Algeria Master's degree

2. About you and your community

Briefly introduce yourself and your community.

I am currently a student in master 1 computer systems security (Cybersecurity) at the University of Algiers, I am a motivated, patient and curious person. I
chose this specialty because I was passionate about securing through penetration testing, and during most of my course the resources I found were on
Github thanks to the sharing of people like me. I would like my community (the Algerian community) to be more present and to be recognized because
we have a lot of untapped potential, especially through this program which would allow me to create events, connect people and share new resources and
news. ideas to move the world forward.I would like to promote this program to the students of my university and my country in order to allow them to
flourish if I too have the chance to do so.

Why do you want to become a GitHub Campus Expert?

The main reason that prompted me to be part of this program is the notion of sharing. Indeed, I could see that this program had few people in Algeria,
even people who are not really active within my university, I would like to change this idea, and show that it is possible to s integrate to get rich and that
only thanks to patience, motivation, but above all PASSION. I want people like me to organize talks, workshops, seminars in order to expand students'
knowledge, to enrich themselves and to pass it on to other communities, because what is not shared is lost!

How will the Campus Experts program enable you to support your local community better?

I will first have the opportunity to exchange technically with other communities. This will allow me to develop my different senses of communication and
to maintain my soft skills in terms of leadership and decision-making. The resources presented and the training will allow me to improve and encourage
me through work sessions, sharing of experience and the popularization of concepts which for the most part often seem too difficult, especially in my field,
namely networks. and cybersecurity. Through this idea, I hope that Github will allow me to support my knowledge already acquired, and to share them in a
factorial way with all my entourage in order to create an Algerian community open to the world and to the sharing of knowledge!
