 Do you think the images have shown ethical violations? Why or why not?

I think these images show a lot of ethical violations because first, there are children in the background
even if you ask permission to take pictures within the community you still shouldn’t involve kids in your
photography especially if there’s no permission from the parents or guardian. I think this is also self-
promotion because who or what kind of people will go to take a prenup like what shows in the pictures?
What can you get in this kind of prenup? So that people will think that you are concerned about the
community that you went to? So, in order to help them you guys took a pictorial of their community and
showed all of the people how needful their community is? Or just because of the vibe of what the
community can give to your pictures? Also, it shows in the first two pictures above that they shoot in
some kind of market or some busy place, as a photographer you should know that one of the ethical
things that a photographer should do is not disturb their business but the pictures above show that
many businesses have been disturbed because the photo shoot creates a commotion in the middle of
the busy street. The pictures above also show stereotyping because they only show some parts of poor
places in that community like the market, the trash behind them, those kids, and the mother and baby
behind them, and those pictures that they shoot show how poor the community is. For me, I don’t get
the idea of having a prenup picture in this kind of area they are invading people’s culture, peace, and
life. They overshare the culture of the people in that community, exposing too much privacy to the
people who are living there. As a photographer, even though the client gives the idea of having a prenup
in that kind of community you must enlighten them that there are various things that they need to
follow since the location that they chose is a little bit off.
