As a Filipino we love traditional snacks of the Philippines and

we want others to love it too, and so we planned to create a
business named TRADITIO SNACKS. Our tagline will be

snacks. Sweetie Toron, both made from sweet potato and
banana, wrap in a lumpia wrapper and then fried into the pan
with boiling oil. On the other hand, Gulaman Special, is a mixture
of gulaman, sago, and arnibal altogether. Our business will be
located at St. Peter Drive, Brgy. Poblacion Tabango, Leyte near in
Tabango Senior High School (TSHS). Teacher and students are our
primary customers in this business. We choose the location near
TSHS, for the reason that there are a lot of teachers and students
who might want to rediscover the traditional taste of Filipino
snacks. Our business will be open from 9:00 o’clock in the
morning to 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon, every weekdays,

C. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS

TREND IN THE INDUSTRY

In our locality which is Tabango, Leyte, most of the time, people in

Tabango including the students and tourist are always looking for
snacks made with banana such as bananaque, toron, and pinaypay.
Aside from it is really a perfect snack and the traditional snack of
Filipino people, it is also affordable that anyone even a student can
afford it.

CONSUMER ANALYSIS

Our target customers are teachers and students. They might find
their way into buying and eating our products since they are used
to eating gulaman and banana in other recipes. In addition to that
our product is not just delicious but also affordable.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

In the business that we are building we can’t avoid having

competitors and we happened to have four competitors or rival
businesses. First, Fristea fast food chain, they sells fries and iced
tea. Their strength is that their product is inexpensive to purchase
and is easy to sell and one of their weaknesses is that their product
is bad if it is consumed daily. Second, Papa's Fritas De Kangkong,
they sells kangkong chips. Kangkong chips has lots of health benefits
and that strengthen their business, but customers finds kangkong
chips to be unappealing and that makes their weakness. Third,
Scrumptious Scoop, they sells squash ice cream. Right now it is
summer time and it gives their business the whole favor or strength
for ice cream is perfect during summer but customers may not like
their ice cream flavor for almost everyone likes ice cream to be
chocolate or cookies and cream flavor and that may be a weakness of
their business. Lastly, Coffee Cravings, they sell iced coffee. Just
like scrumptious scoop their business is also in favor with the season
for iced coffee is a relaxing drink during summer and that gives them
the whole advantage or strength. But when consumed in excess,
these empty calories can lead to weight gain and increase your risk
for unfavorable health conditions, such as type 2 diabetes and this
may be the weakness of their business.

the company grows.
