    Dear Sir,

    Import clearing
    This is to clear the current situation in clearing pharmaceuticals.

    As you are aware to clear a shipment it is necessary to have a valid registration & Import license.

    I agree that it is my responsibility to keep ready the registration & Import License on time. But some
    registrations renewal has not happened due to deferent situations, which is beyond my control such as,

     NMRA has delayed many evaluations at the period of COVID epidemic.


    As it is a NMRA responsibility, they have provided us a solution by giving a clearing approval to
    people who have submitted their renewal documents for the product. But to obtain a clearing
    approval we must submit a set of documents to prove that we have submitted the renewal
    documents, together with an application.
    *Proforma invoice,
    *Product renewal document submission acknowledgement,
    * Previous registration & Import License,
    Also, we must submit them at least one month before shipment as it is a long procedure.

     In the cases where we couldn’t submit the renewal documents for registration due to any
    reason, we cannot get a clearing approval.
    Ex; If the site registrations are not completed, and requested for a GMP inspection from NMRA.
    If the manufacture has not provided the renewal documents to us for submission,
    If we have received a rejection evaluation,
    Etc.

    For your kind information,

    If we don’t get sufficient period to apply for a clearing approval, we face a difficult situation and we are
    disturbed with our other routine work and which will cause many delays for other product renewals &
    submissions.

    Procedure to receive a clearing approval.

    Once we receive a proforma to apply for a clearing approval.

     Prepare an application.
     Submission.
    ↓
    Send to subject clerk.
    ↓
    Checks for the document & send to a pharmacist
    ↓
    With a minute send back to the subject clerk
    ↓
    Prepare a payment letter and send to CEO for the signature,
    ↓
    Back to subject clerk & send it to us
    ↓
    I apply for payment approval from MD.
    ↓
    Once the approval comes accounts department make the payment & get me the slip
    ↓
    I give it to Danush & he pays it to NMRA accounts dept & get a receipt.
    ↓
    Then the payment receipt & Original Certificates submit to NMRA to get the stamp on the
    registration.
