A NIGHTMARE

Today was my first day of school! I was so exhausted because I did not

In the dream, I was on a round-the-world (1)___ cruise ___. The ship

was taking me to Southeast Asia. I was so worried that I would not be back in

Hong Kong in time and would then miss the first day of school. I tried to call our

school (2) principal , Mrs Eva, to tell her I was not in Hong Kong. I

promised her I would study the (3) course materials by myself on the

ship. I had all the books and exercises with me. She told me it was okay and

(4) complimented me on how good my plan was.

Then, I noticed there was nothing but some pencils and erasers in my

crying. At that moment, my teacher called me and told me she could upload the

materials to Google Classroom for me because the school is based on the

yelled a waiter. Soon, I was locked up with other (10) __patients___. I tried to

explain but no one had the (11) __patience__ to listen to me. Everyone was busy

in the hospital wing. Suddenly, the ship halted with a loud

thud. It had crashed into an iceberg. The ship stopped

moving completely and became (12) __stationary__. I looked

around. The sick people around me were moaning, losing

themselves and turning into zombies…

“WAKE UP!” I heard a familiar voice. It was Mum! It was just a dream. I

burst into tears and told her about my nightmare. “No more zombie movies at

night, you silly girl. Come and have breakfast now. It’s your first day of school.
