Coron Philippines
known for:
Coron is best known for world-class
World War II-era wreck diving, but
the island also has limestone karst
landscapes, beautiful Palawan
beaches, crystal-clear freshwater
lakes, and shallow-water coral reefs.
Palawan known
for food:
Palawan is well-known for its seafood
platters, but the island's lechon kawali is
also a must-try. This pork belly dish is best
served as a viand (a particularly tasty and
savory dish) or as a pulutan (a savory dish)
(simply referred to a bar food). This local
delicacy will be delicious in whatever way
you choose to try it.
our important journey
Maquinit Hotspring
The Maquinit Hot Springs are one of the world's few saltwater hot springs.
The 30-minute tricycle ride on the dusty road to the hot spring can be
challenging, but it is rewarding once you arrive. Mangrove trees surround
the area, as if guardians of the beautiful beach. The site has two warm
saltwater pools. Pebbles cover the pool's flooring and walls. The pool
temperature ranges between 37° and 40° Celsius. While it may take
some time to adjust to the temperature, keep in mind that it becomes
more soothing and therapeutic as time goes on. Just don't stay in the
water for too long.
Sunset Beach
The beach has a beautiful setting, with rock formations, mangrove trees, and powdery
white sand that is ideal for sunbathing. "SUNSET BEACH" was named after the sunset. This
beach is ideal for a lunch break. A stunning beach with clear water.
Quin Reef
A good spot for eating, Snorkeling, Swimming, Photography, and Building Sand Castles
with your Loved Ones.
Cyc Beach
Coron Youth Club Beach, also known as CYC Beach, is included in island hopping tours
that can be booked in town. The beach has white sand and clear waters, and it is dotted
with mangrove trees and rock formations, creating a lovely beachscape. It is also a popular
destination for locals looking to spend time with their families.
Barracuda Lake
Barracuda Lake is a unique dive location known for its Thermocline. It is
located in the Philippines, north-west of Coron Island. It's a freshwater lake
located in a former crater. It's about 40 meters deep and surrounded by jagged
limestone cliffs.
Smith Beach
Smith Point Beach in Coron, Palawan is a public beach. It's a great place to
swim and relax with its beautiful white sand beach and crystal blue waters.
Because of the bungalows located at one end of the beach, this tourist
destination is included in many Coron tours.
Skeleton Wrech
Skeleton Wreck is a 25-meter-long Japanese supply ship that was hit by a US
airstrike during WWII. The ship is now at a depth of 5m, with a maximum depth
of 22m. It is an excellent location for free-diving, scuba diving, and surface
snorkeling.
Twin Lagoon
Twin Lagoon is one of Coron's most popular attractions. This wonderful
location is a lagoon formed by two bodies of water separated by stunning
limestone cliffs on one of the islets that comprise the Calamian Archipelago in
Palawan.
Reef Garden
The habitat "Coral Gardens" is defined by OSPAR as a relatively dense
aggregation of colonies or individuals of one or more coral species occurring
on a variety of soft and hard seabed substrata. Tour b

Bulog Dos Island
Bulog Dos is a sandbar located in Coron, Palawan, among the famous beaches of the
Calamianes archipelago. Bulog Dos is the smallest of the stops, taking less than an hour
to tour. Staying for an extended period of time, on the other hand, will be rewarding: the
sand is creamy to the touch, and the surrounding water sparkles aquamarine, which you
must squint to see. A few meters beyond the sandbar is a bed of seagrass and dazzling
corals, including stingrays. Unlike many other spots in Coron, the water here is free of sea
urchins, so swimming or snorkeling is completely risk-free. You can also rent a kayak to
go kayaking.
Banana Island
At Banana Island, you can swim and snorkel in clear turquoise waters near the open sea.
The island, which is a popular stop on an island-hopping tour, has a narrow strip of white
sandy beach set against a backdrop of forested, hilly terrain. Moor your boat in a
horseshoe-shaped lagoon, find a hammock chair, and swing lazily in the shade of tall
palm trees. The island has several cottages for overnight stays, as well as a beach
volleyball court.
Malcapuya Island
Malcapuya Island is a white sand island about two hours away from Coron. It's one of the
most beautiful and deserted beaches on Coron. The others are Bulog Dos Sandbar and
Banana Island. The water remains shallow over varying distances, making it ideal for a
long swim.
Buy Pasalubong/Home-Bound
