Hello, good evening. I’m Mohamed. I’m 22 years old.
I live in Cairo. I’m a student in Al-Azhar University, faculty of education, English department. I’m a junior. I was very excited to have the chance to be interviewed for this position with your company today. Thank you.
I’m a highly ambitious person who wants to achieve many
great things in life, and this job role is one that I am very passionate about.
My academic qualifications have given me a good
foundation for working in this role and, I am acutely aware of the importance of collaborating with others effectively, to always put the needs of the team I am a part of first, and to make sure I learn things quickly so I can contribute to the company objectives. I would describe myself as self- motivated, positive, determined, and resourceful, and I will always embrace change positively. I began my career in sales working for Abdulsalam company for Household Appliances for 1 year. This first job was a great way for me to build essential workplace skills such as how to communicate with customers, how to work as part of a team, and the importance of representing a company in a positive manner. Within this role I was responsible for many tasks including building relationships with customers and clients, seeking ways to increase company revenue, and helping train newer members of staff as and when they joined the team.
I then moved on to work in Elmatam Alsory restaurant,
then in international restaurant as a waiter, then in a library. Also, I took many English courses in GateWay, and I learned a lot because those courses were all practical. Since then, I have worked in various roles and I have always been praised by my managers for having a positive attitude towards work, for always embracing change positively, and for supporting my co-workers to help the team achieve its objectives. A key achievement of mine was in a previous role where I made recommendations to my manager for improving customer service standards which led to an upturn in sales.
Outside of work I like to keep myself fit and active and I
spend time reading non-fiction books which enables me to develop important skills that help me to focus on my personal goals. If you hire me in this position I will always get as much work completed as possible, I will always help the business grow and move forward, and I will take responsibility for my own ongoing professional development.
I think my skills and experience meet the vacancy
requirements, for example I know from the job description that this job requires is level B2 so, I took many English courses in GateWay, and I'm curious to know more and learn more. I never feel it's enough when it comes to knowledge and learning and exploring new possibilities. I'd like to know more about the specific duties of this position; However, I do understand that positions similar to this one in our region pay in the range of 9 to 13.
My phone is my biggest problem it distracts me all the time,
and currently I'm learning to put it aside during work, and I turn off my data as well because the notifications thing really distract me. I found myself more productive and more focused when I started applying those techniques.
My goal in this company is to become Training manager,
and I have a plan to achieve this goal. There is a course that I'm planning to take soon, and most importantly is to master my job to be able to go to the next level. So, it's not just a step to reach my goal. The reason why I wanna be in a leadership role it's to maximize my influence is not to run from my job, and help people do their jobs and reach their goals. So, getting promoted is not my main drive, my main drive is my passion for the job itself.
