    M.S. Dhoni Global School is holding a Math Genie competition on July 12th and 13th for grades 1-5 and 6-10 respectively. The competition aims to kindle students' interest and love for mathematics by having them use math as a tool to explain themes of the G20 such as trade, climate change, and health through original models. Students will be evaluated on their presentation, problem solving, reasoning, accuracy, and model representation.     MATH GENIE COMPETITION

    Dear Parents, 03rd July 2023


    Greetings from M S Dhoni Global School!

    “Mathematics is, in its own way, the poetry of logical thinking.” – Albert Einstein

    Mathematics definitely triggers logical thinking and develops determination in students to


    ensure that they always arrive at a logical solution for any given problem.

    In order to kindle our students’ interest and love for Mathematics, we at M S Dhoni Global School
    are setting up a platform and conducting this year’s Math Competition - “MATH GENIE” on
    12th July 2023 (Grades I to V) and 13th July 2023 (Grades VI to X). Children can brainstorm
    and come up with their own models using math as a tool to explain the various themes of G20.

    THEME OF THE COMPETITION:


    Trade, Climate change, Sustainable development, Health, Agriculture, Energy, Environment, and
    Anti-corruption.

    RUBRICS:

     Presentation - 2
     Problem-Solving - 2
     Reasoning - 2
     Accuracy & Completion - 2
     Model Representation - 2

    Please note that no readymade models will be accepted. Parents are encouraged to help the
    child(ren) understand the concept of G20, but the child must make the model on his/her own.
