    The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing person, Imani Roberson, who was last seen on July 16th and could no longer be reached. RCSO began searching for the mother of four. RCSO later found Ms. Roberson's burned and abandoned vehicle. During their investigation, RCSO began questioning Ms. Roberson's husband Donell Anderson about her disappearance. On August 4th, with the help of cadaver dogs, human remains were located that led RCSO to secure warrants for Donell Anderson's arrest for malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime.

    IMMEDIATE MEDIA RELEASE

    Rockdale County, Georgia – UPDATE: On July 17, 2023, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) received reports
    of a missing person. RCSO was advised that victim Imani Roberson was last seen on July 16, 2023, and could no longer be
    reached. RCSO immediately began its search for the mother of four. RCSO worked tirelessly to find the truth behind the
    disappearance of Imani Roberson, to later find Ms. Roberson’s vehicle burned and abandoned in South Fulton.

    As the investigation unfolded, investigators began questioning Mr. Donell Anderson about the disappearance. Donell
    Anderson is the husband of Imani Roberson.

    On August 4, 2023, RCSO with the assistance of cadaver canines, and South Fulton Police searched an area identified as a
    place of interest and located human remains. Evidence has led the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office to secure warrants for
    the arrest of Donell Anderson for the following charges:

    Malice Murder
    Felony Murder
    Aggravated assault
    Possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime
