Fast and friendly

Penguard WF is a new water-borne epoxy coating suitable for

a wide variety of usage situations combining fast application benefits,
corrosion protection and less impact on the environment than
traditional epoxy primers

Features:
• Fast drying • Visible end of potlife
• For corrosion classes up to C5 • Superior adhesion to a wide
• Approved as primer for Steelmaster range of substrates
Intumescent coatings • Low VOC content

Penguard WF fully complies with

LEED v3 requirements for VOC and
Compound Prohibitions (GS11).
Technical Data Penguard WF
Product description Drying time
Penguard WF is a two component, anticorrosive water-borne epoxy coating which cures down to 5°C. Drying times are generally related to air circulation, temperature, film thickness and number of coats,
Contains active corrosion protective pigments and flash rusting inhibitors. Available with different and will be affected correspondingly. The figures given in the table are typical with:
hardeners for varying substrate temperatures, Standard for temperatures from 15°C to 40°C and WG * Good ventilation (Outdoor exposure or free circulation of air)
for temperatures from 5°C to 23°C. * Typical film thickness
* One coat on top of inert substrate
Recommended use
