CANTEEN REPORT
SY 2022-2023
A school canteen has a special role to play in education, health and well being of
the students that they serve.
Pussian Elementary School decided to have a consignment scheme. The
interested vendors of the community signified their interest as the school announced
that we are open to them.
The school and food suppliers agreed on both parties through MOA
(Memorandum of Agreement). We get the 20% from their total sale per day. They are
only allowed to sell nutritious food. Cleanliness is highly observed since they cater food
for the school children. They are required to undergo and submit a medical certificate
from the RHU of Alcala ensuring that they are healthy and fit to handle food to serve in
the school. They are required to wear clean and proper attire. Since the canteen aims to
provide healthy, safe, and nutritious food for the school community.
The suppliers deliver their goods before recess. The intermediate level helped in
selling during recess time in rotation basis together with the vacant teacher as their
training ground in EPP subject particularly in the entrepreneurship.
Puto, peanut, miki-miki, banana que, bihon , ginataan , bread and buko juice
with competitive price served in the canteen. Since the school doesn’t have a canteen
building, we temporarily use the mini gymnasium of the school with concrete tables and
chairs to use while school children are eating. Washing area inside and outside the
classroom is available. They wash their hands before and after having recess to ensure
their hands are clean.
The net income from the operation of the canteen utilized for the following:
Revolving Fund-----------------------------------------10%
Total 100%
