    Pronoun Be Complement Contractions
    I am a student. I’m a student
    You are a student. You´re a student
    He is Eddy. He´s a student
    She is Annie. She´s a student
    It is a book. It´s a book
    We are students. We´re students
    You are friends. You´re friends
    They are Brazilian. They´re Brazilian.
    Function.- We use am, is, and are:
    1.- To say who we are. 4.- To describe people, things, or places.
    I am Annie . He´s Eddy. He´s hungry. She is beautiful.

    2.- To say what we are. 5.- To say the age.


    We are students. They´re teachers. It´s 6 years old. We are 20 years old.

    3.- To talk about nationality.


    I´m Turkish. They are Brazilian.
