1. Carry and transport the Microscope properly.

2. Correctly turn the microscope on: Power switch first before rheostat adjustment.

3. Focus the specimen in Scanner objective.

4. Change the objective from scanner to Low Power Objective using Revolving nosepiece.

5. Focus the specimen in Low Power Objective.

6. Change the objective from Low Power Objective to High Power Objective using Revolving nosepiece.

7. Focus the specimen in High Power Objective.

8. Change the objective from High Power Objective to Oil Immersion Objective using Revolving nosepiece.

9. Focus the specimen in Oil Immersion Objective using immersion oil.

10. Turn the light source off.

11. Shift the objective back to scanner.

12. Lower the stage.

13. Dismount the microscope slide.

14. Clean the microscope.

15. Return the microscope.
