REASONS FOR REFUSAL

You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.

In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: Visitor of the Immigration
Rules (www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor),
I have considered:
• your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
• your immigration history

The decision

Visit refusal template - No RoA 19-Jan-22

You have applied to travel to the UK for a 27 day visit. In assessing your entry clearance
application, I have considered all of the documents and information provided against the
requirements of Appendix V, and have also taken into account the published Visit guidance.
The guidance indicates a number of factors which can help assess if an applicant is a genuine
visitor, including but not limited to the following:

• their financial circumstances as well as their family, social and economic background

• their personal and economic ties to their country of residence

• I do not find your intentions in the UK credible. This is because the supporting information you
have provided shows no contact between you and the charity you are intending on visiting.
Furthermore you state you are going to reside at Airport House Business Centre. This is a
commercial premises with no accommodation, I’m therefore not satisfied you intend to reside
there or your intentions are as stated.

• I’m not satisfied that your financial circumstances are as you state. This is because
you state you are self-employed, however no information has been provided to indicate
you have a registered business, nor that you receive income from it. Whilst I
acknowledge your bank statement (Alfalah 2810) the deposits in the account cannot
be attributed to your self-employment. Furthermore, there is notably a recent large
deposit which in unexplained and irregular to the rest of your statement.

I have considered the documents and information submitted in your application; and on the
balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your financial
circumstances or intentions in wishing to enter the United Kingdom. This undermines the
credibility of your application to the extent that I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking
entry as a visitor or intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit.

The concerns noted in the paragraphs above mean that I am not satisfied that you have
accurately declared and intentions in the UK, which in turn means I am not satisfied on the
balance of probabilities that you are a genuine visitor. While I note the information you have
provided regarding your family circumstances, I am not satisfied that these other factors
outweigh the concerns noted above. Therefore, I am not satisfied that you are genuinely
seeking entry as a visitor and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application
is therefore refused under paragraphs V4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.
