Sales in PCR (Passenger car radial) 4W & 2W Segment.

Job Description:

Summary:
The position is accountable for the overall sales growth, profitability and supervision of the ATPL
business segment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


 Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
 Establish vertical and horizontal segments for gaining newer territory or appointing a new dealer.
 Maintaining and developing relationships with existing/new Key OEM Accounts.
 Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales with OEMS & E-commerce.
 Successfully performing the strategic planning for launches of new products and identify new
potential market segments.
 Detailed in gathering market and customer information (focused on Who Is My Customer).
 Formulating Market visits/Territory visits along-with subordinates on monthly basis.
 To develop innovative ideas with cross- functional teams to increase the sales volume.
 Reviewing own sales performance & with team, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
 Monitoring closely on competitors activities as well as strategize to evolve effective future
strategy.
 Accountable for sales revenue, Gross profit, PnL, and collection targets for territory.
 Manage and lead sales team to achieve company objectives.
 Setting sales targets for sales team as per company objectives.
 Develop the sales strategies per segment (Sales & Services at Store Levels).
 Monitoring & Motivating team to reach targets and propose development plans.
 Coordinate with supply chain and finance dept in order to ensure that customer’s demands are
fulfilled on time – in full.
 Devising Mechanism & Directions to the service department in the diagnosing of the customer’s
needs through the appropriate products and services & latest technologies.
 Develops & Verifies service quality & accuracy, to gain maximum customer base

SBD ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY


 Financial Responsibility: ATPL Sales through ATPL elements of: Sales Units, Alignment Units,
and Promotions (Strategy V/s Implementations Gaps, e.g. current promotions are displayed and
offered to customers).
 Customer Service Responsibility: Saying Yes, ATPL Inspections & Presentations, Mystery Shopper
Scores ___% or higher, CPSA Scores (Compliance & Process Store Audit Scores ___% or higher.
 Employee Relations Responsibilities: Training & Coaching ATPL employees; ATPL Employees
Structured Growth Plan as per ATPL Norms.
 ATPL Operational Responsibilities: Maintain ATPL Assets/Equipments in working order, ATPL
image inspection, Cleanliness of ATPL Store peripherals areas (organized inventory), Ensure the Store
& employees equipped with Optimum supplies of Saleable Items & serviceable tools helping them in
enhancing customer services & sales.
 Inventory Responsibilities: Ensure right products & sizes availability accuracy in allocations at store
levels with proper quantities, knows top movers location-wise, Monthly review inventory ( slow
movers & adjust accordingly), Inventory counts, Inter store transfers, adjustments ( looking for close
to zero).

Administrative Responsibilities
 Establishes priorities on increase in results of customer satisfaction
 Analyzes, organizes and monitors daily activities together with sales & Service Advisors Counterparts.
 Learns and understands the performance business data and applies it fairly to daily operations and
decisions in effort to increase Subordinates productivity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and enjoy each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 MBA or Degree/Diploma in a related field.
 10+ years related experience as Area Sales Manager - Tyre Industry - Sales
& Related Services/ equivalent combination of education and experience.
 OEM & Smaller Retailers Experience is Must.
 Digital Sales/E-com sales will be an added advantage.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of organization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
 The employee regularly works as per the designed schedule.
 The employee regularly works an average of 9 hours per day, and may attend meetings after
normal business hours.
 Travel between locations is often required by the employees and self.
MISCELLANEOUS
 Acceptable driving record, in line with the stated ATPL Company Policy, and valid driver’s license.
 The employee must comply with all aspects of ATPL Workplace Policy.
 A background check may or can be conducted if required as a condition of employment.

Compensation Package: Upto INR 12.00 Pa. CTC (incl. variables)
