PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE: Yes to Linig: Monthly Clean-up Drive


II. PROJECT RATIONALE:
Keeping our school clean is one of the key objectives of the Youth for the Environment in
School Organization at Gubat National High School. Members of our organization have noticed
that students today are careless when it comes to keeping our environment clean. The Youth for
the Environment in Schools Organization is suggesting a monthly clean-up drive to maintain the
cleanliness in our school and at the same time educate and encourage the students of Gubat
National High School to take responsibility for the cleanliness in their surroundings. This is done
to foster environmental awareness and foster the responsibility of keeping our school clean.
The “Yes to Linig: Monthly clean-up drive” is a community-driven initiative that will be
done every last week of the month, aimed at promoting environmental awareness, maintaining
cleanliness in our school and fostering a sense of responsibility towards keeping our
surroundings clean. The project seeks to encourage student volunteers and organizations to come
together once a month to participate in coordinated clean-up activities in designated areas in
Gubat National High School. Through Monthly Clean-up Drives we aim to reduce pollution,
enhance community well-being, and fostering a sense of responsibility to students of Gubat
National in keeping our school clean
III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
1. To raise awareness about the importance of a clean environment in our school and its
positive impacts on students health and well-being
2. To encourage student volunteers to keep our school surroundings clean
3. To collect and proper disposal of waste
4. Foster the sense of responsibility among students in Gubat National High School in
keeping our School clean.

STRATEGIES:
A. Phase 1
1. The YES-O Welfare Committee will identity and select areas in Gubat National for the
monthly Clean-up Drive.
2. The YES-O Officers will set the date of the Clean-up Drive depending on the availability of
the availability and preferences of the volunteers.
B. Phase 2
1. The Public Information Officers of Youth for the Environment in School’s Organization will
create promotional posters to encourage and inform other students and organizations.
C. Phase 3
1. Provide volunteers with necessary equipment such as trash bags and gloves.
2. Conduct a short briefing on proper waste segregation and waste disposal.
D. Phase 4
1. Organize a debriefing session to gather feedbacks and suggestions from the volunteers to
improve the next Clean-up Drive
2.Recognize and appreciate the efforts of the participants through certificates.
