REPORT SUMMARY
I. OBJECTIVES • To deliver the State of Barangay Address
• To inform the constituents of the financial status,
accomplishments, on-going and planes Program, Projects and
Activities of the Barangay and the Sangguniang Kabataan.
• To render/present committee and reports
• Discuss other matters

II. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 1. PRELIMINARIES

ACTIVITY
• The Activity commenced at 2:00 PM, started with a prayer
led thru Audio Video Presentation followed by the singing of
the Triple National Anthem led by Hon. Devie Patalinghug,
Mrs. Olympia Japos and Hon. Glory Joy Lagare.
• The Master of Ceremony, Hon. Concordia T. Tagas

 READING OF SILG MESSAGE TO THE ASSEMBLY BY PUNONG BARANGAY CONCORDIA T.

TAGAS
 PSMS Susana Madula discussed to the assembly the on going activity of Valencia PNP
regarding illegal drug activities, Oplan Sita and the checkpoint they conduct during UNDAS
2022. She also added some of the important information on R.A. 9292 or the law against
Violence Against Women and their Children as Valencia PNP recently conducted a seminar
regarding the said law.
PRESENTATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• The Statement of Barangay Address (SOBA) was rendered by PB Concordia T. Tagas.
Committee Reports:
COMMITTEE ON INFRASTRUCTURE

Comm. On Infrastructure Kag. Renato Maestre reported the infrastructure accomplishments done
during the previous months. Renovation of PMH funded by the MLGU was already finished with some
lackng roofing which was budgeted from the barangay thru a supplemental budget for it to be
finished. Also, we have proposed a 5 million worth of road concreting submitted to the DBM and we
are just waiting for their response regarding the request. KALAHI project implementation on Purok 7
will start by early in 2023 as we are already on process for request for fund release.

COMMIITTEE ON ENVIRONMENT AND ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Committee on environment and natural resources Kag. Helen Tagaro reminded the constitutents
about the process and requirements prior to cutting of trees. In addition, she also reminded us not to
cut trees near water source as it will affect the water supply in our barangay. Tree planting activity
should be scheduled soon as soon as seedlings are prepared.

COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE/SENIOR CITIZEN

Committee on agriculture and senior citizen Kag. Adelaida Dadang reminded all the farmers to have
their crops and livestocks insured. All rice farmers must insure their rice crops 15-18 days after
planting it. Those stray dogs must be put on leash so as to prevent any untoward incident regarding
dog bites and motor vehicle crash. A program in celebration of the elders’ month to be held on
Saturday November 5, 2022 in the afternoon. All senior citizens are asked to join the said activity and
to showcase their talents for everyone. All new solo parent applicants are asked to apply at MSWD
office on Nov. 3, 2022.

COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS/VAWC Desk Officer

Committee on appropriations Kag. Glory Joy Lagare read the financial statements for the
previous month. Annual budget for 2023 has not been yet finished so she cannot report it yet
as the BDC has to deliberate with the budge more further. Kag. Lagare also as our VAWC
Desk Officer reported to the assembly about R.A. 9262 the law against Violence Against
Women and their Children that protects the rights of our women and their children. A
symposium will be scheduled this last quarter of the year and priority participants are the
husband and wife or live-in partners so as both of them will know the rights women have
against violence.

COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION/Women
Committee on Education Kag. Rosa Jaminal reported that face to face classes already started. Parents
were reminded to educate their children on the health protocols and to wear mask as additional
protection as children has weaker immune system that the adults. Also, Kag. Rosa who handles
committee on women reminded the member about the due on rice so as to roll the capital and
purchase another sacks of rice for the members to avail.

COMMITTEE ON YOUTH AND SPORTS

SK Chairperson Devie M. Patalinghug discussed the previous activities by the youth as well as the
fiesta activities handled by them. A proposed Linggo ng Kabataan will be held as soon as all the
District 4 SK Chairperson have their meeting about the flow of activities. A tree planting activity was
also planned by the SK as long as they contact the office from Cortez in charge of the seedlings for
the tree planting. SK Surplus will be utilized for the repair and beautification of the basketball court.

Report on Barangay Compliance to National Laws and Issuances or Related Information

Punong Barangay Concordia T. Tagas

Punong Barangay discussed EO # 3 issued by President Marcos on voluntary wearing of face masks on
open spaces. Still, we have an option of still wearing mask for our own protection. On the vaccination
status in our barangay, there were 304 fully vaccinated individuals as per May 2022 record. There
were additional vaccines on the previous month to be added to the official count of the total fully
vaccinated in the barangay. Anti illegal drug activities such as BADAC meeting and other acitivities in
concern with the PWUDs continues. There is monthly BADAC meeting and recently we had a sports
activity for the PWUDs as part of their after care. The BDRRM council also finds way for us to be
prepare on any disaster that may come. DRRM budget to be utilized this last quarter of the year and
trainings and drills were planned to be conducted for the BDRRMC to be prepare on any emergency
situation. Punong Barangay also reminded all of us to be nature conservative and encourage us to
plan trees for nature restoration.
• Barangay Treasurer, AIDA L. TAGARO presented before the
Barangay Assembly members the compliance of the
barangays on BDFP where nine (9) documents out of 9
documents were posted in the BFDP Board
