    Free Crochet Pattern Amigurumi "Sleepy Pig"

    Materials
    (3/0) 2.3mm crochet hook.
    Sport yarn (160/50gr): blue yarn, white yarn, cream yarn, pink yarn.
    Needle for sewing.
    Toy stuffing (fiberfill).
    Stitch marker, scissors.

    Abbreviations
    MR – magic ring
    st – stitch
    slst – slip stitch
    sc – single crochet

    ch – chain
    inc – increase
    dec – decrease

    Pattern Note
    Finished size: the finished toy is approximately 11cm ( ~ 4.3 inch) high.

    Tips
    Make the invisible decrease stitches to have better result.
    Add toy stuffing according to instruction of each part.
    Stitches should be close together so that when the finished toy is stuffed, the stuffing
    does not come out through the gaps in the stitches.

    Head
    Start in cream yarn.

    Rnd 1: 6sc in a MR [6]

    Rnd 2: 6inc [12]

    Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail.

    Start in blue yarn.

    Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the ears on both side of the head, between
    rnds 2 and rnds 7.

    Nose
    Start in pink yarn.

    Ch 5. Skip 1 ch from the hook, inc, 2sc, 4sc in next ch, 2sc, inc, slst in next st.

    Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Sew the nose between rnds 10 and rnds 14.

    Embroider the eyes between rnds 11 and rnds 13, 3 stitches apart.

    Embroider the nose and the mouth with black thread.

    Arm (make 2)
    Start in cream yarn.

    Rnd 1: 6sc in a MR [6]

    Rnd 2: (sc, inc) x 3 [9]

    Rnd 3 – 8: 9sc [9]

    Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the arms on both side of the body, between
    rnds 16 and rnds 17.

    Leg (make 2)
    Start in cream yarn.

    Rnd 1: 6sc in a MR [6]

    Rnd 2: 6inc [12]

    Rnd 3: 12sc [12]

    Rnd 4: 4sc, 2dec, 4sc [10]

    Rnd 5 – 9: 10sc [10]

    Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the legs on both side of the body, between
    rnds 6 and rnds 10.

    Ruffle
    Working in the FLO of round 17 of the body, attach white yarn.

    Note: The first stitch of the next row will be always in the same stitch as the chain.

    Rnd 1: ch 1, 21 inc, slst [42]

    Rnd 2: ch 1, (sc, ch 2) x 42, slst

    Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail.
