PROFILE
Introduction
Hurst Trading is a leading supplier of granulated limestone and agricultural limestone
materials. Our company has the capability to deliver high-quality granulated limestone
products for a variety of applications. Ground agricultural limestone is a granular calcium
carbonate commonly used as a soil additive, expertly from high-purity carboniferous
limestone. Agricultural lime is a fast-acting liming material with a high neutralising value,
providing the essential calcium required for large-scale applications.

Hurst Trading’s unique process delivers high-quality end products, resulting in consistent
granule size of less than 3.35mm. We ensure that all ground agricultural lime is suitable
for use with all modern spreaders, delivering a versatile solution perfect for farming.

About Us
Hurst Trading is a long-standing grain, stock feeds and agricultural products supplier
in granulated limestone supply in Zimbabwe. We supply thousands of tonnes of high-quality
calcium carbonates every year for a range of businesses across the country. With our own
dedicated pool of reputable contractors, we can deliver our products all across Zimbabwe.
We employ a dedicated team of experts in order to process and deliver our high-purity
limestone and dolomite.

Mission Vision
To have a well-founded reputation for To play a very active role in the
supplying products of the highest expansion and growth of Zimbabwe’s
quality that are second to none. agricultural sector.

02
Product: Granulated Limestone
Agricultural lime is used for soil neutralisation and soil enrichment as most plants and crops
grow best under neutral to slightly acidic conditions. Liming to adjust the pH of acidic soils to
the range 6 to 7 assist in producing fertile crops and supply elements to the soil such as calcium
and magnesium. Zimbabwe's agricultural industry and farming community benefits from
Hurst Trading's High-Purity Carboniferous Limestone.

Why Choose Us
Hurst Trading’s reputation hinges on our ability to supply the highest quality granulated
limestone and for this reason, we are dedicated to ensuring we live up to it. Through
quality tests and control, we ensure we supply the very best products for various
use cases. The first step in doing so is through an intimate knowledge of the product
itself. We work hard to ensure our commitment to our clients gets fulfilled and this is
ensconced in the following:

Making every penny count

The closer your pH is to target, the more effective your fertiliser will be. By maintaining
the required soil pH through liming, locked nutrients are made available to the plant for
uptake, increasing the value of applied nutrients in every bag of fertiliser.

Delivering higher yield and a more resilient crop

Maintaining soil quality for longer

The impact of farm practices and environmental factors means that soil is constantly
acidifying. Applying small amounts of lime yearly maintains pH close to target all year round.
