I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The food industry never gets old and due to its complexity
and diversity, there is a higher chance of bringing any business
venture under this sector into success, a food is a very
fundamental requirement in the lives of the world’s population
and this baked products in particular, has filled the stomach of
most people and will always be in the present day and future
time. This idea made us decide to establish a business venture
that sought to provide an improved food product, specifically
the breads, for the market to become satisfied and at the same
time be entertained to the existence of flavorful and innovated
traditional foods. We implemented the general partnership as a
type of ownership for us to be able to share our responsibilities
and aftermath along the journey. Our business is to be found at
Balilihan, Bohol – a location that is desirable for the target
market. The business is can be managed by just students,
individuals who are open to opportunities, responsible in their
duties, competent in their field of expertise, and dedicated to
cooperation which are essential in the success of this business
venture.
II. VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

VISION
We passionately bake products that taste great and make
every eating experience more satisfying. We will never
compromise our product quality or family values. And as a
baker, we want our product to achieve recognition.

MISSION
This business creates a bakery which makes the best quality
baked goods on site from scratch, fresh daily! We will strive
daily to exceed costumer’s expectation.
III. BUSINESS DISCRIPTION
Products and services
I plan to offer a large number of delicious breads, cakes and
sweets, a shorty beverage menu as well as a menu with
homemade soft drinks. Our face in front of the costumers,
will be our friendly smiling staff.
According to the website named “delishably.com” In the
Philippines, breads and pastries are not just for eating. They
are tradition. Filipino share these breads and pastries with
their loved ones, bringing them home as pasalubong or gifts,
and eating them together with family and friends during
special occasions. We intend to use this as a stepping stone
for attracting customers, and also, we want to add some
special cakes and sweets.
In that way we will be able to offer a wide variety of bakery
products responding to the high demand for bread and at the
same time, utilize our resource to produce and finish the
specially decorated products that our bakery will become
famous for.
Special events can be a major market segment. Weddings,
birthdays, religious celebrations and parties of all kinds
require cakes and bake goods. So, I have a plan to partner
with party venues in the area to ensure that the costumers
know hat they have to offer when the time comes.
I will use pastel elements for our interior design. We plan to
display professional picture of our top delicious products,
which will increase the customers’ appetite and the number
of purchased items per client.
IV. INDUSTRY BACKGROUND

In the Philippines, the Food industry sales have been

consistently on an uptrend from 2015 to 2019. It even peaked
in 2019 before plunging by 44 percent to 8.54 billion dollars
due to the pandemic.
V. COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

organization to identify its eternal strategy and weaknesses,
as well as its external opportunities and threats.

OPPURTUNITES THEARTS
VI. MARKETINGPLAN
The increase of daily production must consider certain factors
such as profitability rate, efficient workforce, increased
population, inflation, business expansion, effective marketing
strategy, etc.to reach out to our costumers it is a need to provide
them an innovated product that can get their interest, as
costumers always exploring for new and unique products or
services in the market. I will adjust our pricing to fit to their
purchasing power, knowing that in our current situation,
economic is at hand and income is at risk. Because of the
existence of economic boom and boon, individuals are always
busy for income opportunities, thus the business offers delivery
services in order to still advent of technology, we used it in order
to promote our business because mostly of our potential market
were able to access the social media.

Target market
The target market consumes the product the most because of the
following reasons:
Priorities- primary priority of every individual is food and doesn’t
stop from eating which means they have the very capacity to buy
the product
Purchasing Habits- Filipinos are fond of buying anything special
when they are budget friendly, pleasing to the senses and forced
by social pressure
Culture- Philippines is a home of rich culture and traditional
events and this product is commonly found during feast, brutal
rites, and other small or big celebrations and events. Since our
product has various types of bakery products, I want to aim those
people especially children who love to eat something sweet, for the
traditional baked goods, we want to make sure that families will
really love it and became our regular customers.
Also, the price of our product is budget- friendly, therefore, we like
to aim those people who want to budget and save their money.

Marketing strategy
Product
My product menu offers a large number of various baked
goods which is delicious and at the same time eye appealing to the
costumers, by using the tailored strategy, or customizing products
for each segment, we have various fillings in some goods, and you
can choose different kinds of flavors that can satisfy your stomach.
It has a thick bun and delightful fillings that can make our breads
unique and different from others. Slice in Z, where customers can
choose not one but many flavors you like, can make them return to
our store and repurchase our delicious and appetizing baked
products.

Price

Our baked products is not only delicious, but it is very

affordable and budget-friendly though the students and senior
citizens can afford to buy it. Hence, it is less costly, but it can fill
the customers’ stomach. We sell the breads without fillings with a
price of ₱3.00 to ₱5.00 depends on sizes. Using the cost-based
strategy, local delicacies like pandesal are quite cheaper because
the raw ingredients and processing are more convenient compared
to the ones with fillings. We also set the price in a way that our
products can be fitted to the purchasing ability of the target market
(demand-based). Lastly, we found out that the average price of our
competitors’ products range between ₱20.00, that’s why we set the
price below it (competition-based). We want to sell a good quality
product that you can afford and satisfying to eat. The price of our
product makes us different from others and unique. The cost can
no longer justify the flavor and the amount of filling of our baked
products.

Place
You can find Slice in Z at Balilihan, Bohol. Our location is
desirable for the target market. We implemented the direct sale and
the retailing as a distribution channel as it is cost-effective and
convenient. This channel of distribution can be done by going to our
stall and avail or products directly, at any certain quantity the
customer purchases. We also added the delivery services in order to
reach out those who are far and don’t have the time to go directly to
our location. Our goal is to make our business a place of affordable
and easy-to-avail products towards our target market. Many people
would buy our products, and it can become profitable.

Promotion
To promote our product, we use social media platforms to sell
our products so that many people can see our purchase. If you like
to order, you may visit our Facebook page Slice in Z. We would like
to offer our free delivery services to reach those who don’t have time
to go to our store, and the payment method is cash-on-delivery. To
identify and gain our business, we would like to distribute coupons
or cards that contain numbers to give them recommendations to
our business.

VII. OPERATION PLAN

The business we are proposing is called “Slice in Z”. The

business was named after the owner Annlezhien which the favorite
part of her name is having the letter Z. The owner thinks that
naming the business after her name will be unique, remarkable,

added drinks that is fitted on it. We displayed a menu with its cost
at the front view of the building. This will be easier for customers to
choose that are reasonably priced. And we prepared some sits to
make the customers feel comfortable. As from now, we currently
suffer under the pandemic so that, the order or rules of buying
