    FIRE OLYMPICS SCRIPT:

    MC 1: March of every year is declared as the Fire Prevention Month. In the


    Philippines, March means summer has begun. And usually during
    summertime, incidents involving fire is at height.
    MC 2: To support the Bureau of Fire Protection- Calbayog City Fire Station’s
    campaign on public safety awareness and prevention of fire in the community,
    the Brgy. Fire Olympics is being conducted today. As the saying goes,
    “Prevention is better than cure.”

    MC 1 and 2: Good morning, everyone and welcome to the 2023 Barangay


    Fire Olympics.

    (INVOCATION, PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM):


    MC 2: To commence the program, let us stand for the invocation. And please
    remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

    MC 1: A wise man once said, Fire Destruction is one man’s job but Fire
    prevention is everybody’s job. Thus, it is wise to be aware so that we will not
    be consumed by the burning ashes of our lack of knowledge.

    WELCOME REMARKS:
    MC1: To give us her welcome remarks, may we call on our hardworking and
    untiring Deputy City Fire Marshal, SFO2 Wenifreda M Catalan, Mam. Let us
    give her a round of applause.

    MC2: Thank you Mam for giving us a very inspiring opening remark.
    PRESENTATION OF FPM 2023 Station AVP
    MC2: At this juncture, we will be presenting the Calbayog City Fire Station Fire
    Prevention Month 2023 Station AVP. This is a collection of all the activities
    conducted by this station throughout the month of March.
    (Note: State the activities.)

    MC1: And now, let us call SFO1 Richard G Bulawit, Calbayog CFS Team B,
    Shift-In-Charge, Sir for the Fire Safety Covenant

    GENERAL RULES:
    MC 2: To give us the General Rules for the 2023 Brgy. Fire Olympics, may we
    please call our Chief, Operations Section, SFO1 Roy B Marquez, Sir.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PARTICIPATING BARANGAYS:


    MC1: To acknowledge the barangays who gave their supports on the BFP-
    Calbayog’s programs and activities for the Fire Prevention Month 2023 and
    actively participated in the 2023 Brgy. Fire Olympics, may we call on our
    enthusiastic, very energetic and untiring Chief, Communtiy Relations Unit,
    SFO1 Angielou V Labian, Mam.
