OF RESPONDENT
MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:
1. That applicant is respondent in above noted case pending

adjudication before this Hon’ble court.
2. That the petitioner filed the present false and baseless case
of divorce against the respondent.
3. That the applicant/respondent is a house wife and has no

independent source of income of her own to meet her
necessary expenses to pursue the proceedings as she lives
in Delhi and is presently completely dependent upon her
parents for her maintenance.
4. That it is submitted that the petitioner is a man of great

means and is running his own business of selling
Electronic and Electrical Goods under the name and style
of _____________ at Shop __________________ and as
per his own claim, he is earning at least Rs.2,00,000/- per
month.

6. That the applicant/respondent is a legally wedded wife of

the petitioner and the petitioner is under an obligation to
maintain the applicant/respondent, however, the petitioner
has not made any provision for the maintenance of the
applicant/respondent.
7. That the applicant/respondent is only 12 th Class pass and

has no source of income of her own and she is fully
dependent upon her parents for that purposes and the
applicant/respondent requires at least Rs.20,000/- for her
maintenance per month.
8. That the petitioner has no other responsibility except to

maintain the applicant/respondent and her minor child.
9. That it is submitted that the petitioner has intentionally and

deliberately refused and neglected to maintain and support
the applicant/respondent, who is a legally wedded wife of
the petitioner and has a legal right to be maintained by him
as per his own status.
10. That the applicant/respondent has already filed a case

under section 125 of Cr.P.C., bearing MT. No.**/2023,
against the present petitioner for claiming her maintenance
and the same is pending in the court of Sh. Ajay Pandey,
Ld. Principal Judge, Family Courts, District Shahdara,
Karkardooma Courts, Delhi and is now fixed for
09.08.2023.
PRAYER:-
It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble

court may be pleased to direct the petitioner to pay
Rs.20,000/- per month as maintenance pendent-lite and
Rs.50,000/- for expenses of proceedings to the respondent,
in the interest of justice.
