    Dear Majority Leader Schumer and Minority Leader McConnell:
    Citizens United has collected thousands of signed petitions from concerned American voters who
    oppose any and all measures to federalize our elections.
    Recent polling has found distrust in the federal government is nearing an all-time high, with only
    16% of Americans trusting the federal government to do the right thing most of the time.
    Americans support a free and fair election system that makes voting accessible to as many
    eligible citizens as possible, but also makes it hard to commit fraud. Restoring trust in our
    elections starts with every state enacting these common sense reforms:

    • Show Identification to Vote


    • Outlaw Ballot Harvesting
    • Limit Vote by Mail
    • Enhance Recount and Audit Procedures
    • Ban the Privatized Funding of Election Administration
    Attached is a file containing 13,000 signatures from Americans across the country urging the
    U.S. Senate to keep Washington out of our elections.
