    Internship Summary Report: First Week Journey and Learnings

    Department: IS Application Dev. And System Division: PMO Technical Projects Year: 2023/2024 G.C

    Introduction:

    During the initial phase of my internship, I had the opportunity to engage with various departments and divisions
    within Amhara Bank organization to gain a comprehensive understanding of the general process flow of work. This
    involved fruitful discussions with team members to explore their specific roles, responsibilities, and the technologies
    they utilize to accomplish their tasks. In this report, I will provide an overview of these discussions, focusing on the
    areas of infrastructure, security, and systems and applications.
    1. General Process Flow of Work:

    To establish a solid foundation, I engaged in detailed conversations with the department and divisions
    to gain insights into the general process flow of work. These discussions centered around
    understanding how tasks and responsibilities are distributed, the coordination between teams, and the
    overall workflow within Amhara Bank organization. By comprehending these processes, I aimed to
    familiarize myself with the organization's operational structure and identify potential areas for
    improvement or optimization.

    2. Technological Landscape:

    In order to gain a deeper understanding of the Amhara Bank organization's technological ecosystem, I held
    discussions with the team members from various departments. Specifically, I focused on their work and the
    technologies they employ to fulfill their respective roles. The discussions encompassed three key areas:
    infrastructure, security, and systems and applications.

    Infrastructure: Within the infrastructure domain, I explored the systems, databases, and networks that
    form the backbone of Amhara Bank organization's operations. By understanding the underlying
    infrastructure, I aimed to grasp the technological framework supporting the organization's core functions.

    Security: Security is of paramount importance in today's digital landscape. I engaged with the team
    responsible for ensuring Amhara Bank organization's data and systems remain secure.
    Our discussions revolved around the general Security of Amhara Bank.
    In Terms of Security the department is not interested to detailed explanation about the department and
    the technology they use.

    Systems and Applications: Another crucial aspect of the organization's technological landscape is the
    systems and applications employed. I delved into discussions about the core banking systems, which are the
    foundation of financial operations, as well as auxiliary applications that provide additional functionalities
    and support various processes.

    Through these discussions, I endeavored to gain a comprehensive understanding of the technology


    landscape within the Amhara Bank organization, the tools and platforms utilized, and the potential
    opportunities for growth and innovation.
    In the subsequent sections of this report, I will provide a detailed account of the insights gained from these
    discussions within each area. By examining each domain individually, I aim to provide a comprehensive
    overview of the organization's processes, technologies, and the interplay between various teams and
    departments.
