1.Define citizenship and write any four rights
and responsibilities of a citizen.
Ans: The membership of any country is called the
“citizenship”. If you were born and living in
Pakistan then you are a citizen of Pakistan.
Rights of a citizen:

2. Everyone has right to live a free life.
3. All citizens can think and speak freely.
4. All citizens are safe in the country.
Responsibilities of a citizen:
1. Be faithful to his country.
2. Follow the country’s law.

Ans: A standard , according to which all the
humans are equal and are libel to have
the basic needs of life without any
discrimination, is called “human rights”
for example, as a student you can’t make
money by yourself. So you have right that
your parents give you food to eat, dress to
wear, a house to live, and school to study.
These are your basic (fundamental) rights.
3. Explain diversity and the importance of
diversity.
Ans: Diversity means understanding that each
individual in a society is unique with all
his qualities, colour, race, culture, religion,
opinions and life style.
Importance of diversity:
Diversity is very important for the peace of
the society or even for the peace of your
school. Different people have different
ideas. Sometime, some people’s ideas are
not very good but the other people’s ideas
are very good but when different people
give their ideas on a project, then we can
choose the better ideas for our projects.

4. What is tolerance?
Ans: Tolerance is a concept that helps people to
live together peacefully. If you are tolerant
that means, you accept other people
opinions and lifestyle, even when they live
in a way that don’t agree with.

Ans: Five common etiquettes are:
i. Respect others
ii. Being polite
iii. Showing care to the elderly people,
women, children and disabled people.

Ans: Nation:

Nationality:
The state of being a part of a nation with
common language, history and interests
is called nationality. Because Pakistan is
a nation, so, as a member of ‘the nation’
Pakistan; our nationality is ‘Pakistan’

Ans: The act of transferring (giving and taking)
information or news is called information.

Pakistan?
Ans: There are five cultures in Pakistan. Four
provinces Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. And free regions Azad
Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Ans: We are Pakistani. Our country Pakistan is

Ans: The Quaid-e-Azam
Quaid-e-Azam’s full name was Muhammad
Ali Jinnah. He was born on 25th December
1876 in Karachi. His father’s name was
Poonja Jinnah. Jinnah got his early education
from Karachi and went to England for higher
Education.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah joined the Indian
National congress in 1906. At first, he
worked for the freedom of United India.
But in 1913 Jinnah joined All India Muslim
League (AIML) and started working for
Pakistan Movement. He became the
president of AIML in 1934. Muhammad Ali
Jinnah worked hard for the Movement of
Pakistan. And finally he got a free country
Pakistan on 14th August 1947. He became
the first Governor General of Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam died on 11th September
1948. He was buried in Karachi.
