    DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR TRANSCRIPTS

    Defendant, by limited appearance counsel, Cara Schaefer Wieneke,

    respectfully requests that this Honorable Court order that the following transcripts

    be prepared:

    • the in-chambers proceeding held on October 19, 2023;

    • the hearing held in open court on October 19, 2023; and

    • the hearing held on October 31, 2023.

    In support thereof, Defendant states the following:

    1. Counsel was retained to represent Defendant for purposes of filing an

    original action on his behalf.

    2. The Indiana Rules of Procedure for Original Actions require a relator

    to provide the Supreme Court with a “relevant transcript of any evidence in the

    record” if it exists.

    3. Counsel has communicated with the court reporter, Jodie Williams,

    and has arranged for an expedited transcript to be prepared.

    WHEREFORE, Defendant, by limited appearance counsel, respectfully

    requests that this Honorable Court order that the above-listed hearings be

    transcribed.
