Introduction
My name is Mariela Dal Maso, I´m the designer of Mongoreto´s amigurumis. If we did
not meet before… a pleasure to meet you!
In this special of Mongoreto you will find 9 designs with their differences and
similarities that stimulate your creativity. Who knows? May be at the end you
encourage yourself to create your own.
As usual the Mongoretos below are crocheted with 100% cotton yarn in the middle
size (for crochet with a C-2 needle size [UK 12]). In this way all designs are
approximately 6.29 inches. Remember that you can easily change the size of
amigurumis by changing the thickness of the yarn and the needle.
The stuff is Fiberfill and the safety eyes are size N°12 except Corn Rooster wearing
safety eyes N° 6.
It is very important that the choise of materials is based on who the amigurumi
is for. In case of babies and children the materials must be hypoallergenic and
take special care not to detach the parts. In case of the amigurumi is for pets I
recommend replacing the safety eyes with embroidery (so our friends can bite
then hard without worries)
