Cell Analogy Summative

By: Zein Dadoua

01 Introduction.
What I chose to compare.

A cell is like a costco.

Cell Comparison 02
Cell Comparison
Paragraph of Nucleus Control room

packages of food.

Paragraph of Central Vacuole Storage room

My 5 paragraphs
03
Paragraph on Nucleus
The nucleus and control room are alike. They both control everything and keep everyone in
order in a coordinated system. The nucleus, for example, like the control room, keeps the cell
in shape and order. They both save essential information as well. DNA is stored in the nucleus
in the same way the necessary information is stored in the control room. To sum up,
everything I have said, the nucleus and control room are similar for two main reasons, they
both hold information/DNA, and they both control and maintain everything in order.
Paragraph on Mitochondria

The mitochondria and the engine of the cooler are both similar. My first reason is that they
both distributes energy to something. The two of them provide power; for example, the
cooler's engine provides energy to keep it cold. They both store energy, which is another
reason they are alike. When the engine is turned off at night at closing time, it stores the
power. To conclude everything I said, storage and distribution of energy are why the
mitochondria and the cooler's engine are similar.
Paragraph on the Costco wall
The store wall and cell wall are both alike for 2 reasons. My first reason for explaining
this is that both the store wall protects the store by providing protection and
security in the same way that the cell wall protects the cell. The wall also stabilizes
and structures the store in the same way that a cell wall shapes a cell; without a
wall, it wouldn't even be a building. In conclusion they both of them are alike for
two reasons, stabilizing and giving structure, and protecting the store in the exact
same way the cell wall would.
Paragraph on Cell Membrane
The cell membrane and the backdoor of the staff are nearly identical. Both allow
certain things to pass through, which provides security. Only staff members are
allowed through the backdoor, and the cell membrane only allows specific
non-polar and non-charged molecules through. They both deliver something; for
example, the staff backdoor takes the packages containing all of the food and
delivers it to where its supposed to be; the cell membrane does the same. Finally,
the cell membrane and the backdoor of the staff are nearly identical for two
reasons, they only allow certain things through and they deliver certain things.
Paragraph on Ribosomes.
Ribosomes and the people making samples are both the same. First, both of them generate
protein ribosomes generate protein in the same way people create protein. The people
making the samples are preparing the food to be put out. Second, they both get specific
recipes to create the protein from the nucleus. For example, the people making the
samples get the recipes from the control room and start them, similar to the ribosomes. To
sum up, everything stated, both the ribosomes and people who make samples are the
same because they both generate protein and get specific instructions from the nucleus.
