INTRODUCTION NPC

A note from your author...

Everyone wants something to believe in.

Some people are content in believing in

themselves.

Other people believe in another person they

look up to.

Still others believe that the physical universe

will take care of them.

But there comes a time when one must face the

deepest questions, such as….

“Who am I?”
“Where did I come from?”
“Why am I here?”
“What can I do?”
“Where am I going?”

These questions can drive people mad until they

find the answer that satisfies each one.

But do such answers exist? And if so, will we

ever find them?

With that, I fondly present to you my new book,

“Roll Me A Religion.”

I hope you enjoy :)

Warmly,

Your NPC, Assassin

EXAMPLE NPC

Example
Here is my example religion!

The Klomfity religion is one of ancient secrets,

lost to history and abandoned by most of
its followers. Only a devout few maintain its
caballistic ways.

But what makes this religion so despised by the

modern world? To solve world hunger, this strict
religious order demands its followers engage
in acts of cannibalism with their own species as
an act of gaining power, because in Klomfity, “All
are gods,” and by gathering together and eating
a follower every single day, you too can band
together as a united collective to end all hunger
in the world, both the physical hunger than
cramps your stomach, but also the void in your
soul that never feels full.

Their prophetess, Ada the Evil, claimed to

receive a revelation two centuries ago where
she encountered the Dreaming Tree, a place
where souls who are eaten become reborn as
sentient trees in a mystical forest, and the more
of your people you ate in this lifetime, the larger
your tree shall be. The unbelievers are sent to
the Realm of Suffocation, a nightmarish reality
where its victims eternally suffocate, gasping for
air to no avail.

Their scriptures, “The Book of Elation,” speak

about the glory and power to be received from
eating your loved ones, and tips on how best to
prepare their bodies for consumption. Festivals
are dedicated in thanksgiving for the people
who’ve offered their body as victuals for the
cause.

Converts are expected to make a pilgrimage to

the Unholy Altar of Curses, where their divinity
is restored, and they become like the gods they
must devour. Makes perfect sense, right?
