I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
a. Compare and contrast the difference between Divorce and Annulment, and the different types
of Family.
b. Perform a plot showing the kinds of Family.
c. Share their own traditions and cultural perception of family of their own or of what they have
observed in their own community

Let the students to identify the message of child.
A. Activity
The teacher will tell the students to guess the different words shown from the video in Pinoy
Henyo way, the group mate will guess the word pasted on his forehead by asking the categories and
possibilities of answer and asking his groupmates answerable only by oo, hindi and pwede

B. Analysis
- the teacher will read a short story of a couple with failed relationship in the Philippine
Setting. She will then explain why the couple and their marriage can only be annulled, but cannot be
divorced. The learners will compare and contrast the difference of Divorce and annulment by a short
debate, and why the Catholic Church in particular does not agree with Divorce.

a. What do you think is the activity all about?
b. What do you think are the kinds of family in our community and assess how these
families cope up during the pandemic financially, emotionally (communication), economically (whether
they lose their job or able to work from home) and physically? (Integration: Pandemic)
C. Abstraction
a. In a powerpoint presentation, each kind of family will be identified.

D. Application
a. Group the students into 3 groups. Give each group will have a kind of family as their
group name and they will raise their names if the picture and definition is applicable to their group.
IV. Evaluation
1. (written explanation) Why do People Marry?
2. (Group work) Group the class according their talents and interest.
Answer may be in the form of pictures, song or in explanation - (teaching using differentiated
instruction)
