Green Building, also known as green construction or sustainable building, is the practice of
creating structures and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-
efficient throughout a building„s life-cycle: from design, construction, operation,
maintenance, renovation, to deconstruction. This practice expands and complements the
classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability, and comfort.
The common objective is that green buildings are designed to reduce the overall impact of
the built environment on human health and the natural environment by:
• Lightweight core of Portland cement and light aggregates or EPS or perlite sandwiched
between non-asbestos, fiber cement facings.
• Each Panel has a standard size: Thickness: (50 mm), (75 mm), (100 mm)
and (180 mm), Width: 61 cm, Height: 227 cm.
Used As:
• External walls and partitions.
• Internal walls and partitions.
• Fire-rated walls of more than 2 hours.
Features
1- Reliable mechanical performance:
The mechanics performance of the compound D-Wall is in the leading position of the wall products
including its resistance of impact, perch up strength, compress and transverse bend.
8- Flexibility in Design:
Reduces space, time for construction, labor‟s working hours and wages, plastering, painting preparation, and
cleaning costs. The surface of the wall is smooth, soft finish that does not need plastering and is sufficient for
all types of paints and finishing.
Plumbing:
Same procedure as with electrical conduits, pipes are
slid into the panels and appropriate holes are cut for
plumbing fixture connections.
Corners:
Can be fitted by cement glue & mechanical fixing.

Comparison Between traditional building using Normal
Cement Blocks and non load bearing Green Panels
Expected required time for building a home of 200 SQM area , using the traditional way by concrete blocks:
Expected required time for building a home of 200 SQM area , using the
Green Panels (7.5 cm and 10 cm):
Saved Time (with painting) is : 34 – 10 = 24; Time Saving 10/34 = 30% 70% .
Saved Time (ready partitions) is : 19 – 2 = 17; Time Saving 2/19 = 10% 90% .
Since the time we can save is around 70% of normal required time , then as a result the overhead expenses (
administration cost , supervising cost , heavy tools renting cost ,….etc.) will be approximately reduced by the
same percentage , which does mean more profit.
