The Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offers opportunity to earn BBA degree
plus MBA degree from IIM Indore and many other top B-schools, for the young students who have
passed class 12 or are appearing in class 12 in 2023.

1. What is IPMAT?
IPMAT full form is IPM Aptitude Test. The exam is conducted by IIM Indore for admission to Five
Year Integrated Programme in Management. The score is accepted not only by IIM Indore but also
by IIM Ranchi, IIFT Kakinada, NALSAR University Hyderabad, Nirma, TAPMI for their Integrated
BBA+MBA degree. The exam is meant for young students who are Class 12 Pass outs and those

 Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is a Dual Degree Program and is a

 IPMAT is a computer based test of 2 hours duration with 90 questions divided in Quant and

 The marking scheme is +4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for wrong answer

3. IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility criteria define academic eligibility, age eligibility among others as below:
 Only the students who have passed Class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools
across India in 2021, 2022 or are appearing in 2023 and are able to produce mark
sheet/School leaving certificate latest by July 31, 2023 are eligible.
 Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2003 (5 years of relaxation to the
candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01,

8. IPMAT 2023 Registration, Application Process & Fees
Candidates have to register online. The payment of registration and application fee should also be
done online. The exam application fee is Rs.4130/- which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The registration process is available at IIM Indore IPM website. The step by step process is as
below:
 Registration & Application form is available on official website of IIM Indore
 For 2023 registration, keep ready the key documents – Personal details, Class 10 & 12 Marks
sheet, Fee payment instruments like net banking, Credit/Debit card
 The Registration & Application form fee is Rs. 4,130/- (Rupees Four thousand one hundred
thirty only) inclusive of GST for General, EWS and NC-OBC category candidates
 For SC, ST and PwD category candidates the registration & application fee is Rs.2,065/-
(Rupees Two thousand sixty five only) inclusive of GST
 Recommended browsers to fill the form are: Internet Explorer (version 10 and above), OR
Mozilla Firefox (version 52 and above), OR Google Chrome (version 58 and above)
 Use Mouse to move between fields for entry of data instead of using Tab Key

 Candidate has to fill in the personal details first to receive the User Id and Password.

Ans. Both IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak have the IIM brand. However, IIM Indore was the first IIM to
start IPM way back in 2011 and its eight batches have passed out with consistently rising placement
packages. On the other hand, IIM Rohtak started IPM in 2019 and its first batch will pass out in
2024. While the academic program is as per IIM standard, the placement data will be available in
2024 for the first batch

Q. Will IIM Indore or IIM Rohtak conduct WAT in IPM final selection process?
Ans. No, IIM Indore will conduct only Personal Interview and No WAT is proposed for IPM
Admission 2023. Final Merit list is based on Aptitude Score and Personal Interview. Similarly, IIM
Rohtak will conduct Personal Interview but No WAT is proposed. The final merit list will be based
on IPMAT score, Academics and Personal Interview

Q. What is the cut off in shortlisting for IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak IPM Programme?
Ans. Since the exam scoring pattern and maximum score is changed as compared to last year, the
expected IIM Indore 2023 cut offs for shortlisting are likely to go down between 160-180 marks out
of 360 marks. IIM Rohtak cut off 2023 are likely to remain between 250 and 255 marks out of 480
marks

Ans. Apart from IIM Indore, the score is accepted for IPM admission by IIM Ranchi, IIFT

Ans. Yes, A good dedicated study schedule with or without coaching is needed to prepare for the

Q. Can I leave the IPM after 3 years? What degree I will get?
Ans. Yes, you exit after successfully completing 3 years of IPM program. In such cases, IIM Indore
and all other institutes award bachelor’s degree duly recognized by UGC.
