The Characters in the story are; Lily Bloom, Ryle Kincaid, Atlas Corrigan, Andrew bloom,
she wants to open a flower shop in their town, she grow up with a father who was abusive
and she runs into this guy named Ryle, the day of her father’s funeral. In a other day Lily
notices that there’s this boy living in the abandoned house across from her house and his
name is Atlas, the relationship between Lily and Atlas are so pure and very wholesome
and when Lily and Ryle met each other this guy wants something happened to both of
them, Ryle’s dark side has came out, the worsting is he start abusing Lily just like her
father did to her mother then Lily make’s decision about difficult situation with Ryle, who
becomes physically violent towards her. Despite her deep feelings for him, Lily recognizes
the importance of prioritizing her own well-being and safety. In a brave and empowering
moment, she decides to leave the relationship to protect herself and break the cycle of
abuse.
She start creating letter to Ellen Lee DeGeneres an American comedian, television host
the reason why Lily Bloom gives letters to her deceased mother, Ellen, as a way to process
her emotions and seek guidance. These letters serve as a form of therapy for Lily, allowing
her to express her thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Ellen was also a survivor of
domestic abuse, and Lily discovers her mother’s journals containing letters written to Lily.
Ellen’s letters become a source of wisdom and insight for Lily as she navigates her own
relationship with Ryle Kincaid, who have a abusive behavior. By writing letters to her
mother, Lily engages in a form of self-reflection and conversation with the memory of
Ellen. It becomes a means for Lily to connect with her mother’s experiences, understand
the challenges she faced, and find strength in her own journey, for me this is the biggest
plot that I read in this book, although I haven’t finished reading the whole story yet.

life, and then the Individual Resilience, and for the lastly is Mother-Daughter
Relationships.

For me, the impact of this story is too sensitive to read because many bad behaviors and
family problems are shown here, especially women experience it in their real life, it has a
big impact on me to better avoid and increased awareness of domestic abuse, the novel sheds
light on the dynamics of domestic abuse, and its portrayal has increased awareness among me and the
other reader about the realities and complexities of abusive relationships. And the empowerment and
strength for women that has inspired a sense of strength and determination in facing challenges and
If I were to recommend this book, my answer would be a definite yes. The depth of the story sets it
apart from other books initially it may not be an easy read because the narrative reflects the harsh
realities of life. To be honest, it might not be suitable for my age; it seems more suit towards adults or
those above their twenties due to have a sensitive content involving various forms of relationship abuse,
the story not only addresses issues that pertain to women but also delves into family problems that can
result in divorces due to spousal abuse. While it might not have been the most suitable choice for me,
my curiosity about deeper, more mature stories led me to read it. The chapters are quite sensitive,
