Short Essay Sample

Crafting an essay on the topic of "Short Essay Sample" presents a unique set of challenges. One
might assume that a shorter essay would be simpler to write, given its reduced length. However, the
brevity of the essay imposes a constraint on the depth and breadth of the content that can be
included. The challenge lies in conveying a clear and concise message while ensuring that the essay
remains informative and engaging.

To begin with, condensing complex ideas into a limited word count requires careful consideration of
language and structure. Every word becomes crucial, demanding a precise choice of vocabulary to
convey meaning effectively. This constraint necessitates a meticulous approach to sentence
construction, making each sentence contribute significantly to the overall coherence and impact of
the essay.

Moreover, the limited space available poses a challenge in terms of research and supporting evidence.
The writer must carefully select the most pertinent information, as there is no room for unnecessary
details. This demands a thorough understanding of the topic and the ability to prioritize key points
that will strengthen the essay's argument or message.

Additionally, creating a captivating introduction and conclusion within the confines of brevity is a
task that requires finesse. The introduction must grab the reader's attention swiftly, and the
conclusion should leave a lasting impression, despite the restricted space for development.

In essence, writing a short essay sample involves walking a tightrope between conciseness and
completeness. It calls for a mastery of language, effective use of supporting evidence, and a keen
awareness of the reader's engagement. Striking this balance is no small feat and demands a
thoughtful and strategic approach to essay composition.

Disenfranchisement Of The LGBT Community
The disenfranchisement of the LGBT community is an issue that has plagued society for
a long time. They have been regarded as aberrant, defective, and subhuman. They have
been denied basic rights and rejected by society. They have been arrested, abused, and
even killed for being who they are. Even in the present, although times and circumstances
have improved, bigotry is still prevalent in the populace. As someone who is transgender
and bisexual, these issues are important to me. I may be living in a fairly accepting
environment, but I am still not insusceptible to microaggressions, even from those who
mean well. If my circumstances could be considered to be on the fortunate side, I can
only imagine what the less fortunate members of my community must be dealing with.
In order to take a step toward eliminating those struggles, I seek to educate people about
these problems and encourage them to fight against them. In the past, members of the
LGBTcommunity were viewed as anomalies. According to the National Center for
Biotechnology Information, people tried to come up with various theories about
homosexuality. For example, Richard von Krafft Ebing, a German psychiatrist, believed
homosexuality to be an inborn disorder. Sigmund Freud, an Austrian neurologist,
believed that all people are predisposed to attraction to any gender; he thought of
homosexuality as phase in the process of developing heterosexuality. Sandor Rado, a
Hungarian psychoanalyst, believed bisexuality and
The Life and Poetry of Bret Harte
Authors, a lot of them surround us today, they are the person who enhances our
imagination, or gives existence to anything that is plain and different. In American
history, there were a number of poets and authors who rose to popularity. They changed
people s outlook on everything, and added a great amount of different things in American
literature. Throughout this time, there were a couple of great poets and authors who
helped create the local color school in American fiction. One poet who helped in this
movement was Bret Harte.
Bret Harte, an American author and poet, was born on August 25, 1836 in Albany, New
York. His father, Henry Harte, and mother, Elizabeth Ostrander, both worked as teachers.
His full name was Francis Brett Hart, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With no recourse, he went to San Francisco where he found a job as a typesetter. It was
also here where he shared short stories and poems for the journal, the Golden Era.
While working here, he started signing his works as Bret or The Bohemian. His life at
this stage was somewhat a repeat of what his childhood was, living measly, since he
was only receiving a small amount of income. Harte was very much against racism,
and these feelings gave him reason to write poems entitled as Plain Language from
Truthful James . Even though he considered this to be the worst poems I ever wrote ,
it got a different response from the people around the world: they loved it! The poems
had a negative outcome because it started a racial turmoil in California against the
Chinese. However, in time, he learned how to please the readers by giving them what
they wanted to read and not what they needed to read. Before, racism was a huge issue,
nobody liked other races because then do not have the same color of skin. People always
wanted to have a higher authority over the others, the whites were considered the
powerful authority at that time. In 1860, he started writing stories with the theme of
Escape and Illusions. He was considered a very talented humorist because he can turn a
completely boring thing in to something everyone would enjoy. With his talent in writing,
he won national acclaim and from then on,

She knows maybe she should let him go, but loves him so much that the fear of
leaving will only speed up his slow suicide. So she lives in pain and terror, worrying
about him every second and begging him to hold on and be well. I believe that by
skinny he means that he has done so much damage to the relationship, that there is
next to nothing left, as far as ever having a trusting partnership with the correct kind of
love. She has taken on more of a parenting role or a caretaker and his love for her is
more of a selfish one; as if she were one of his drugs that he has to have. Since the
drugs have numbed him to being fully aware of how much he has hurt her, he won t
know until he s better how much he put her through. But she is there and says she will
continute to be to clean up all the messes if he will recover. I m sure in recovery he
learned that he needed to let her go. The passionate love was so skinny that it could
probably never be recovered. She loved him unselfishly and he loved her very
selfishly. I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for three years and when she
listens to this song and its lyrics, it gets her thinking. She thinks she is the girl in the
lyrics because in her mind I was really bad by not paying enough attention to her, but I
know that s just an excuse. In any relationship, people sometimes feel they are not good
enough. Also, in any relationship, it is sometimes easy to give to much, or take too
much. That is the nature

Opportunities:
A good opportunities in order to increase sales and even create more awareness, could be
to make it available to order a delivery of some kinds of cakes, bread etc. for a event. It
could be big events, or even small events such that aren t close to Lagkagehuset bakery.
Since it s becoming more and more a norm to order food, luxuries and other products
online, Lagkagehuset could expand their strategies by developing an online store on
their webpage. This would be the same way of ordering a delivery as the opportunity as
above, just different, since its not for an special event but rather just for breakfast a
morning where the consumer wouldn t want to go outside and purchase the bread, cakes
and so on themselves. This would make them even more differentiated on the market and
could appeal to more customers.
Additionally, since the EU are discussing if the fødevarelovgivning is enough, and they

Denmark is ranked very high on the list of countries with the highest yearly consumption
of coffee per capita. However Lagkagehuset would experience a great decrease if the
many people who purchased their bread or coffee on their way to work in the morning,
habitual pattern changes. This means Lagkagehuset have to focus strongly on their image.
Technological factors
It s hard to determine what technological influences there is on Lagkagehuset, however if
they were to establish a better administrative system, in order to organize their regular
and continuous deliveries, it could benefit them in the long run. A more advanced system
always contributes to every industry or company, and it would to Lagkagehuset as well.
This, however, wouldn t have to be a major priority for them since it s not something they
are lacking.

Franz Marc Deer
Vivid colors, sharp lines and turns, contrast, variety, this painting has it all. It is
beautiful and extremely unique, it is whimsical and creative, it is a piece of art that not
many of us can understand. When I first looked at Deer in the Forest painted by Franz
Marc in 1913, I saw bright colors and a couple deer, I saw trees and an owl. I saw a
forest. I could see red, orange, yellow, green, and even shades of blue, there was brown
and white, with hints of black and grey. The painting seems flat, there were no three
dimensional objects or any painting techniques to make the picture pop out at you.
The lines are extremely straight, however, there are some curved lines. Deer in the
Forest is an abstract piece. Deer, the deer are the central focus of this painting. They
are centrally placed and proportional in size to the rest of the objects in the painting.
The contrast of colors is very different in my eyes, I am not used to seeing all of the
colors of the rainbow in one picture, it is just odd to me, however, in this situation, I
find it very pleasing. To me, the colors are extremely dull, he used the lowest variant of
the colors and placed them in a way that made them somewhat pop at your eyes. It
catches your attention, in the best way possible.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

I believe Franz Marc was extremely successful in relaying his message to his viewers.
His painting is original and unique, it is eye catching and unusual. However, I do not
think this is an accurate depiction of the artist skills, I believe he could have done
more with the lines and space, he could have brought out the deer more or brightened
the hues of the colors, I seems as if it was rushed and he didn t have a plan. I believe he
did not have a plan, he just touched the pen to the paper and let it go. But do not get me
wrong, I love this piece, I would definitely buy this painting and place it in my home, but
not for others to see
Slave Narrative
Reading Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass I gathered that it is a slave
narrative and has some of the same characteristics as From Incidents in the Life of a
Slave Girl such as in both of the stories neither of the slaves really knew a lot about
their self, and both were separated from family. The narrative is about a boy named
Douglass that is a slave. However, Douglass is not a typical slave as he used his
resources to teach himself how to read and write about freedom and slaves. Douglass
like any other slave was passed down from master to master and was whipped and
tormented daily. As time went by the torment Douglass experienced by his master Covey
resulted in Douglass not interested in reading any more but trying to managed
