Re: Letter in Support of Mr. Adeel A. Mangi, Esq. to the United States Third Circuit Court
of Appeals

Dear Majority Leader Schumer, Minority Leader McConnell, Chairman Durbin, and Ranking
Member Graham:

The Coalition of the Underrepresented Law Enforcement Associations writes today on behalf of
our respective organizations which represent law enforcement professionals from around New
Jersey and the Nation. Our shared goal is to have a diverse and inclusive law enforcement
profession, bridge the bond between law enforcement and the communities we serve, and continue
to strive for positive change in our Nation.

We write to support the nomination of Mr. Adeel Mangi to the United States Third Circuit Court
of Appeals. During Mr. Mangi’s illustrious career as a litigator with Patterson Belknap Webb &
Tyler LLP, he has displayed all the qualities of an excellent judge: sterling credentials, extensive
legal experience before trial and appellate courts, leadership within the legal community, and a
demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest ethics and fair administration of the law.
These qualities have been exhibited countless times by Mr. Mangi, including through his
substantial pro bono legal work on behalf of people of all faiths and backgrounds.

His record, both in his personal and professional capacities, demonstrates his respect for the rule
of law and the role of law enforcement in promoting public safety. As law enforcement
professionals, it is our collective belief that Mr. Mangi will help ensure equity in the
administration of justice in all communities.

Mr. Mangi’s professional accomplishments, integrity, and commitment to upholding the

Constitution is deeply needed on the federal judiciary. In closing, this correspondence acts as a
formal endorsement of Mr. Mangi’s nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

We sincerely urge the Senate to swiftly confirm his nomination.

Respectfully,

President V. Harrison Dillard President Kamil Warraich
