    SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

    KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

    That we, MA. HELENE FRANCIS P. SACEDA and EDGAR MESIAS SACEDA, both of
    legal age, married, Filipino citizens and residents of Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City, Philippines, do
    hereby name, appoint and constitute ATTY. MYLA M. MATIC, of legal age, single, Filipino
    citizen with office address at Camarin, Caloocan City, to be our true and lawful Attorney-In-Fact
    for us and in our name, place and stead, for our own benefits and use to do and perform any of
    the following acts and things to wit:

    1. To appear, represent and sign all pertinent documents in our behalf during the
    scheduled Preliminary Conference/Pre-Trial and all other court hearings and the
    possibility of obtaining stipulations or admissions of facts and documents to avoid
    unnecessary proof, mark evidence in the cases entitled People of the Philippines vs.
    Helene Francis P. Saceda, Docketed as Criminal Case No. 06-0786 and People of the
    Philippines vs. Edgar M. Saceda docketed as Criminal Cases No. 06-0787 and 06-0788
    for Estafa, respectively before Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 2, Antipolo City;

    2. To protect and advance our rights and/or interests therein and to enter into an amicable
    settlement and/or compromise on reasonable terms and conditions;

    3. To do all other acts necessary acts for the attainment and accomplishment of the above-
    specified powers.

    HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto our Attorney-in-Fact full power and authority to
    do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite, necessary or proper to be
    done and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as we might or could do if
    personally present, and acting in person; and

    HEREBY RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING all that our said Attorney-in-Fact shall lawfully
    do or cause to be done under and by virtue of these presents.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands on this 16 th day of October
