Introduction

Fishing is one of the most essential sources of food consumption and livelihoods. People
and communities are dependent on fisheries for their own consumption and to earn
money. Achieving the sustainability of the lifestyle in the Ocean View fisheries through
sustainable fishing practices has a big impact on the people who live near the ocean.
Sustainable fishing practices are a fishing method that’s designed to maintain the balance
of the marine ecosystem, preserve fish populations, and protect the environment.
Practicing sustainable fishing also encounters challenges that may lead to some negative
outcomes, but all challenges are associated with solutions that should also be
implemented that will result in an excellent and beneficial outcome.
