Opening Hymn: Praise My Soul

3. Father-like He tends and spares us;
1. Praise my soul, the king of heaven, Well our feeble frane He knows,
To his feet thy tribute bring; In His hands He gently bears us
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, Rescues us from all our foes,
Who like thee his praise should sing? Praise Him! Praise Him!
Praise Him! Praise Him! Widely as His Mercy flows.
Praise the everlasting.

2. Praise him for his Grace and favour 4. Angels help us to adore Him,
To our Father in distress; Ye behold Him face to face:
Praise Him still the same as ever, Sun and moon bow down before Him,
Slow to chide and swift to bless; Dwellers in time and space,
Praise Him! Praise! Praise Him! Praise Him!
Glorious in His faithfulness. Praise with us the God of grace.

2. English Version Hymn:

What a Friend we have in Jesus,
2. Have we trials and temptations!
1. What a Friend we have in Jesus Is there trouble anywhere?
All our sins and griefs to bear We should never be discouraged;
What a privilege to carry Take it to the Lord in prayer.
everything to God in Prayers! Can we find a friend so faithful
O what peace we often forfeit, Who will all our sorrows share?
O what needless pain we bear, Jesus knows our every weakness;
All because we do not carry Take it to the Lord in Prayer
everything to God prayer.

3. Are we weak and heavy laden,

Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious savior, still our refugee,
Take it to the Lord in Prayer!
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He'll take and shield you;
You will find a solace there.

THE NICENE CREED (All stand)

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth,
and all that is visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God,
Light from Light, True God from True God, begotten not made. One in
being with the Father through Him all things were made. For us men
and for our salvation He came down from heaven; by the power of the
Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary and became man, for our
sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was
buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the
Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead
and his Kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Lord, and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who
with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, and he spoke
through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic
Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look
forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to
come.
Amen.

5. Recessional Hymn– (Yesu byonna abimanyi)

1. God holds the key of all unknown, 2. What if tomorrow's cares were here,
And I am glad; Without its rest?
If other hands should hold the key, I'd rather He unlocked the day,
Or if He trusted it to me, And, as the hours swing open, say,
I might be sad. My will is best.

3. The very dimness of my sight 4. I cannot read His future plans;

Makes me secure; But this I know:
For, groping in my misty way, I have the smiling of His face,
I feel His hand; I hear Him say, And all the refuge of His grace
My help is sure. While here below.

5. Enough; this covers all my wants;

And so I rest;
For what I cannot, He can see,
And in His care I saved shall be,
Forever blest.
