St(s) Stitch/es
Ch Chain stitch
SC Single crochet (for example: 5SC means 1 SC in next 5 stitches)
sl st slip stitch
SC2tog Single crochet two together: Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop. Insert
hook into next stitch and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops
on hook.
Surface slip stitch Start with a slip knot, and always hold the yarn at the back of your
work. Insert your hook into the fabric from front to back where you
want your stitches to start, get the slip knot on your hook and pull it
through your work, from the back to the front, insert the hook into
the next place where you want your stitches to go, yarn over at the
back of the fabric, pull through your work and through the loop on
your hook to complete the slip stitch.
TIPS
TAPESTRY CROCHET
Crochet as usual with the non-working color carried inside the stitch. Color change: complete
the previous stitch in the new color. This means you read the color chart until it is time to switch
colors, in the stitch previous to the new color, complete the final yarn over and draw through with
the new color you are switching to. Always change color in the last stitch of a current color
completing the last stitch with a new color

ASSEMBLE
EYE SOCKETS.
If you feel comfortable, first, you can embroider eyelashes using a black cotton thread.
- Now we should make EYE SOCKETS using a long needle and a beige yarn. Follow
the instruction and the video tutorial:
1. A needle with a thread goes from a bottom of a head near a neck (pic.1) toward
to an inner eye corner (pic.1-2) and then through an outer eye corner(pic.3)goes
back to a start point. Hide a thread behind a safety eye (pic.4)
2. Leave both tails outside at a start point an bottom.
3. Repeat the same for a second eye.
4. You have 2 pairs of yarn ends. Then tighten each pair pulling tails
and shaping eye sockets (pic.5). Weave in ends.

LEG,ARM&TAIL ATTACHING
Attach legs and arms by tails we
left on each leg and arm.
Pull a thread through a body back
and forth several times (dotted
lines). Weave in.

video it’s shown how to assemble a
monkey, the same way we
assemble a reindeer):
